Stroll around the island, walk to the Vancouver Maritime Museum, then walk to the town, take bus number 7, get off at Gastown, walk from Gastown to Canada Square, watch Leap Canada, great, take the Canada Plaza, sit The Canadian line returned to the hotel in two stops. This was perfectly adequate for my one night stay prior to a cruise. The location is easily accessible from the train from the airport and less than a mile from the cruise terminal. It is no frills but clean. I had a shared bathroom which was a concern but it was fine. You share the bathroom with another room and you will hear them in there but, again, it was one night. There was a sink in the room which was good as you didn't need the bathroom for basic teeth brushing, etc. If I was doing an overnight in Vancouver again, I'd go back.
