"Just Meh Hotel is catered to Chinese tourist, so not suitable if you want a “ Lao” experience. Shower has no water pressure! Was hard to even shower. Room cleanliness standards were so so. Breakfast was Chinese food and was very loud from all the Chinese tourist yelling like they were in their mountain even they are at the same table. I am now on my way to Bangkok to check my heating from the sonic attack on my ears from noisy tourist from China !"

"For my trip to Vang Vieng this time, I decisively chose to stay at Lisa Garden Resort, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to various attractions without wasting too much time on the road. The hotel garden has a wonderful ambiance, and the pool area offers expansive views. Sitting on a poolside lounge chair, the continuous distant mountains unfold before your eyes. As evening approaches, the sunset gradually paints the sky red, and the mountains and water are bathed in a warm glow, creating a healing and romantic scenery. The room facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the amenities are clean and tidy. Midway through my stay, I asked the staff about the Nam Song River tubing route, and they patiently provided many practical suggestions, offering gentle and thoughtful service. After a full day of tiring activities, returning to the hotel to quietly enjoy the sunset and mountain views truly evokes a strong sense of vacation. Highly recommended!"

"Very dissatisfied, I wrote a note specifically asking for a quiet room on a high floor and they replied that it was OK, but when I arrived at the hotel, they arranged a room on the lowest floor, which was the noisiest. When I checked in, they said there were no high floors, but they arranged a high floor for my group of friends. The soundproofing in the room was terrible, and I could hear the sound of switches. It was all Korean tour groups, and the conversations in the corridor were so loud that I couldn't rest, and eating breakfast was like fighting for food."

"The room is spacious, which is excellent for the price. What's also worth mentioning is the strong water pressure in the shower, which is rare to find in Vang Vieng, and the room even comes with a bathtub. There's also a small pool. Breakfast is good, and there's an à la carte option available. The freshly squeezed juice is great. The front desk staff and servers are all nice; one server even speaks Chinese. The only downside is that the room isn't soundproof, especially the two outermost balcony rooms with multiple glass doors, which not only lack sound insulation but also let in mosquitoes. However, the hotel's location is great, and you can get coffee anytime. There are seating areas both indoors and outdoors."

There's a superb rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset and see hot air balloons and paramotors flying by. The breakfast was very varied, offering Asian dishes as well as bread, pancakes, muffins, lots of fruit, and more. The owners are lovely and very attentive. We rented a scooter from the hotel at a very reasonable price, and they also offer to book activities and transportation for you. And the hotel has a beautiful, clean swimming pool! I highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay at Tara Vang Vieng. Although we visited during the rainy season, there was some flooding around the water area, and it was not the lotus season, the staff were extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The room was a little dark, and around lunchtime, there were quite a few outside guests coming to the restaurant, which slightly affected the peaceful atmosphere. However, overall, everything was wonderful. We especially loved the local products and the warm, friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Tara Vang Vieng to my family and friends, and I would be happy to stay here again when they visit Laos"
