Forenom Hostel Vantaa Aviapolis

Ok for short one night

It is not recommended to stay in this accommodation, there is no management and no service. This homestay doesn't have a hair dryer, not even one fixed on the wall. The accommodation is a 30-minute walk from the airport. If you have any problems with your stay you can only call their customer service number, there is no management on site, but my mobile phone can't make calls, I bought a European calling card through the Internet, but it can't make calls, so all problems can't be solved. The check-in procedure of this accommodation has security risks. I received an email asking me to submit a photo of my passport page and other personal information. I couldn't tell whether this information was sent by the hotel or not, and I was worried about my personal safety. However, if I didn't submit my passport information, the email said that I wouldn't be sent the access code. I think the whole process is very irregular because I can't tell whether the other party is the hotel or someone else who has stolen my order information.

This time was better than what I had experienced.

Behind roads which are under construction. It was not easy to walk there with luggages. Then you think you’ve arrived, because above the door it says in big letters “Forenom Hostel”. The code doesn’t work, and after we rang the doorbell someone opens and tells us that the correct building is down below... There was dark, the yard light’s bulb was dead and there was no light at the door. We had to use a flashlight to find the reader where you enter the code. The TV remote’s batteries were dead, so it was not possible to use the TV. The same thing with reading light, it didn't work.

For a hostel without a private shower and toilet, it was totally fine for one night. Personally, I wouldn’t stay longer. The rooms were very cute, the beds were comfortable, and the temperature was good as well. I would recommend the hostel for a one-night stay.

Okay Okay, nothing speciell. It could have been more clean. Rooms were not deep cleaned for a while, stains on the wall.

There was dried pee on the floor. We got a new room and the stuff was nice tho. Still, the whole building looks suspicious.
