Arcadia Hotel

There aren't many luxury hotels in Varanasi, and Arcadia Hotel is one of the best value options. The hotel breakfast is vegetarian, but there's a great restaurant right across the street that offers good value for money and has a lovely atmosphere. We ate there for dinner every day and highly recommend it.

This hotel is decorated with paintings with Buddhist motifs. It is clean, has everything you need, and the food is delicious. There are many small shops and food stalls on the road from the hotel to the station. The hotel is located far from the Ganges River, so you need to take a rickshaw. There is a train station nearby, Varanasi Yad, but it is a bit of a walk from there (the roads are dirty and the traffic is chaotic).

The shower water pressure, temperature, and drainage were all fine. It was recently built, so it was clean for a hotel in this price range. I didn't take the train, but it's close to Varanasi Station and I think it's within walking distance.
