Fantastic location right by the main ghat—10/10 for easy access to the riverside. I stayed in a suite with a balcony facing the Ganges, and the morning views and atmosphere were magical. Rooms aren’t cleaned daily (towels changed on request), and the bathroom ventilator connects to the next room so noise can carry through. Overall, a very good stay—highly recommend booking the suites with a balcony.

Dwivedi Hotels Palace on Steps offers a mixed experience. The room was basic but stuffy and smelly, with unpleasant odors from the area below the windows. The hotel is slightly dated, yet the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, where you can enjoy a vibrant evening ceremony. The view from the room overlooking the river is breathtaking. Highly recommend dining at Aadha-Aadha Café for clean, tasty, and affordable meals. The rooftop ambiance is lovely. Mona Lisa Café is another great nearby option. Overall, a good stay for its location and views, despite minor issues.

The view of the Ganges River was amazing, and the location was great, so I was very satisfied! The breakfast was delicious too.

Great location with front line room, directly overlooking the Ganges. Staff are delightful and eager to help although my request for an airport pick up was not replied to and my joirney to the hotel was horrendous. 1 cab, 2 rickshaws and lots of walking through very narrow, dirty lanes. I almost gave up. From taxi drop off it took me over an hour ! Views are stunning and you are in a great possition for the evening shows. However the room was a complete shock. Nothing like the photos on line. Door to small bacony would not close. Room was tiny. Paint peeling off walls and woodwork. It needed cleaning and repainting. Hasnt been done for many years ! However sheet and towel where very white and spotlessly clean. Shower room was a disaster. A wet room with a bucket ! Tiny too. Food in restaurant was very good.

We were coming by car but the hotel is in one of the narrow lanes . We had to leave our car and call the hotel. After that we got a phone call saying you all come in a rickshaw and be prepared to walk. We were astonished. However 2 people came to meet us . We had to leave our rickshaw as well and walk through dirty by lanes. We asked for room upstairs . They gave room at the bottom. Room was dirty. Bucket for bath water was dirty. The wiring if the electric kettle was too short. There is a big hole and no net where water passes through and after shower the bathroom will be flooded with water. No hand towels either . The bed sheets looks creased and unwashed and used by others. I have given2 star because the staff were trying to help but the walk to reach this place should have been mentioned . Rooms seems not clean and the window area is broken

It’s was difficult to reach this place. We don’t have proper mode of transport to reach this place. We need to walk atleast 1 km to reach. Cab will reach to a point and from there we have to take a rickshaw to reach next spot. From there only by walk to reach hotel. Food was very good. Decent hotel with basic amenities. Services are good. Since hotel is situated on the banks of the river accessing Ganges is very easy but for older people steeper steps would be difficult to climb. We can have a wonderful scenic view from hotel room.

Location (Pro): Very nice as it is on the river bank. However need to climb down stairs about 5 floors to reach to the bank. Location (Cons): Cannot reach to the property by vehicle. The roads are barricaded about 2.5 kms from the hotel. From there E rickshaw will take you to the auto stand,which is about 1 km to the hotel. This last 1 km stretch has to be completed walking in narrow ,filthy lanes. Food: Good ,but round the lock service is not available. Amenities: Very basic for the cost of rentals charged. Services: The staff is hardworking, polite with the guests. They handcarry your luggage during your walk to& fro from the property to the road where the vehicle is waiting for you.

it was a wonderful experience. Manager Mr. Chakraborty was very helpful. The room provided was superb. Very good ambience and prompt service. Overall happy with the hospitality.Will be visiting again

The hotel owner and staff were excellent. The location of the hotel was great, and the food was good too.

Location near Dashwamedh Ghat and view from Cafetaria Balconies is amazing. Food was also nice. Hospitality and food was top notch.

Wonderful location and value of money Ganga view and sunrise view are stunning even the restaurant is beautiful and photogenic

Was a wonderful stay, sunrise view from our room was absolutely fantastic, had a divine experience in front of river ganga, no words to express our gratitude to the hotel people. All of them in the hotel premises were very caring and helpful. Must visit hotel.
