Hotel Clarks Varanasi Limited

Perfect hotel for events. I had my engagement ceremony planned here. The hotel staff were polite, cooperative and attentive. Whole event went smooth and easy. The food was so nice, fresh and tasty. Guests were happy and satisfied too. Overall it was a successful event.

This is review of their lawn banquet at their main Lawn. At first I was sceptical of food quality bcz of frnds review. But On tasting and at the time of main wedding event We were stunned by variety of each course be it starter, main course or dessert. Also the manager Ranjeet ji was very extravagant bcz he added 3 4 extra dishes in each course. They had even planned to design menu such that children dont waste plates by taking multiple plates . Thank you Team Clarks and Ranjeet ji.

Our stay at Clarks Varanasi was absolutely fantastic. Spacious rooms, great service and the most delicious food. Perfect blend of old world charm and comfort. Highly recommended.

I ***** with 8 other family members (all ladies) went to Varanasi and stayed in Clarks Hotel. From the time we stepped in till our departure, we were well looked after. The staff was very attentive, helpful and polite. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the necessary amenities. The hotel is well located and well connected. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarks hotel to anyone visiting Varanasi.

I stayed at this hotel from 24/1/26 and 25/1/26 and was very disappointed. The room was poorly cleaned, with visible dust and a strong musty smell. The air conditioning barely worked, making it difficult to sleep. When I contacted the front desk, the staff was dismissive and offered no solution. The hotel looks much better in photos than in reality. Given the price, this experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel. I had a very disappointing experience with both the food and the accommodation at this hotel. The room was poorly maintained, with visible cleanliness issues and an overall uncomfortable atmosphere. Basic amenities were either not working properly or not up to standard. The food was equally disappointing. The quality was poor, options were very limited, and hygiene did not seem to be a priority. Meals were either undercooked, tasteless, or not fresh, making dining unpleasant.

We had organised a business event for 2 days and booked many Rooms in Clarks Hotel at Varanasi for 3 nights. The extremely courteous and cooperative staff led by their smart and efficient leader - Mr Divesh Pathak were a delight to deal with and left all our guest very happy and contended. They went out of the way to ensure our event was a great success. This was in sharp contrast to a neighbouring Hotel of 5 Star fame with a zero star service, where we were forced to keep few guests, as there was a shortage of Rooms in Clarks Hotel due to the marriage and tourist season. To sum it up, it is a lively place and don’t go by the outside facade or internal grandeur of other big hotels. I can state with conviction, after availing the hospitality of all the major Star hotels in the city, that as on date - Clarks Hotel is the best in Varanasi City for both personal and business purposes.
