Wonderful hotel in central Växjö. Very friendly staff. Spacious room with Nordic decor in grey-white-black colors and good facilities including fast wifi. The a-c in the room was strong, and we had a hard time adjusting it to a more comfortable temperature. Plentiful breakfast buffet, but unfortunately most of the food including dairy and meat was not cooled, so everything was luke warm. There is a small, nice gym and outdoor pools. At extra cost it is possible to park in the hotel cellar, which is convenient.

The room was comfy. The breakfast was amazing served in a fantastic rooftop room filled with glass and a view of the rooftop pool and city below and beyond. You were right around the corner from the main walking and shopping area. They offer underground parking too.

Modern and very friendly hotel with excellent room facilities, as well as hot roof top pools. Welcoming staff and service. Breakfast is based on organic local products. Just excellent. Central location in Vaxjö, just by the main street and plenty of parking options.

We had high expectations for our 2-night stay. We were not impressed by the reception area and the staff was not very friendly. We have booked 2 nights in an executive room however, the room looked exactly like the classic room on the web-site and did not have a seating area with 2 chairs as the picture on the website shows. We did not say anything but were a bit disappointed. The breakfast was really good and the bar/library area on the top floor was very inviting and cozy. We had dinner in both the bistro and the restaurant – see separate review. Our stay was fine, but we had expected a bit more.

We really enjoyed our stay at PM Vänner. Very stylish and well maintained rooms. In addition, the breakfast was amazing. The food (and especially the bread) was of superior quality and everything felt fresh and tasty. The pool and sauna was great as well. All in all a perfect stay.

Poor service, rude and unfriendly staff that show no service mindness what so ever. Not what you expect at a hotel and certainly not when it’s so pricy. I would not recommend it. In short: not worth the money choose another hotel!
