It was a little strange because we got there after dark. We didn't see the entrance to the property and then weren't sure it was correct. There were some locals at the bar and then a guy who spoke some English called the other guy (the owner) over. He was very nice, but since we didn't speak enough Spanish communication was mostly charades. The hotel is a long hallway with rooms on each side. Nothing fancy, no toiletries, but clean and the heater worked well.
The only downside was that there was no hot water for a shower (only like warm).
It probably used to be very nice, but seemed a little less active now.

I wasnt sure what to expect as i booked last minute, but the room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar on property. The owner is absolutely charming! property.

The room was fine once I was settled in, although the checkin process was shaky because the sole caretaker understood no English and my command of Spanish is limited also.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, los colchones y almohadas estan fenomenal, aparcamiento dentro del hotel gratuito y a escasos 5 minutos en coche de Talavera

Inmejorable ubicación del hotel para visitar Talavera de la reina y sus alrededores . Muy familiar y el trato cercano y calidad precio en la estancia . Volveremos sin duda a visitaros en cuanto sea posible . Gracias al personal de la Hacienda del Casar .

La habitación para un matrimonio con dos niños muy bien. El hostal se encuentra a 5 kms de Talavera. Por indicación, recoges la llave en el bar... ahí vienen las pegas. El hombre encargado me cobra 10 euros más de lo previsto y el sábado por la noche y el domingo por la mañana no hay agua caliente, por lo que no podemos ducharnos. El sábado x la noche ya no hay nadie en el bar al que poder decirle que no hay agua y el domingo al ir a desayunar, nos dice q se habrá terminado el termo x lo que hay que esperar 30'. Nos dice q le teníamos que haber avisado, cuando x la noche es imposible hacerlo.mi respuesta es q yo no tengo q avisar a nadie, el tiene que estar pendiente de que eso no pase. No fue capaz ni de invitar al café x las molestias ocasionadas. Para desayunar unos cafés y tostadas más de media hora...

No me gustó el servicio de recepción virtual.
Vernos obligados a buscarnos la vida para poder desayunar a varios kms de distancia, no hace muy recomendable este establecimiento.
Pagar la factura (?) a las 23h por extrañas razones tampoco resulta demasiado atractivo.
