Stayed two nights Tuesday and Wednesday 28th and 29th July whilst on a motorcycle tour of Europe. Very welcoming and friendly Owner on arrival and great safe and secure parking on the terrace for motorcycles. Hotel is in a great location easy to walk into the old town and see the Matisse Chappelle. Gorgeous views over the valley below and to Nice and the coast, nice pool, small and clean. My bedroom was rather small in comparison to some of the photos that I see on the website so perhaps when booking if you need more space you might wish to enquire exactly which room you will have. It was fine for what I needed with a comfy and clean bed, small but functional bathroom and shower where the fittings are certainly not new, but they all seemed to work OK. Breakfast buffet a nice selection and a wonderful location on the terrace. I'd go back, with eyes open recognising what it is, a grand old house thats been converted to a hotel and has a delightful old shabby chic boutique feel, but it you want smart and highly maintained and sparklingly new - choose elsewhere. We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of September. The hotel is very close to the town centre, its an easy, 10 minute, walk. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The personnel were smiling, welcoming and service minded. We had a ground floor room with a little terrace facing out onto the garden. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. We will stay here if we visit Vence again.
