We went there to stay in December. It was very nice and classy! Looks like they just renewed the bathroom. You can see the beautiful canal view from the balcony where you have a breakfast.

This stay had a mix of positives and negatives. We were not placed at San Cassiano as expected but were instead transferred to another hotel in their chain, Palazzo Stern. The alternate hotel wasn’t bad—it's located along the Grand Canal and has a lovely terrace. The property itself boasts some impressive design elements, likely stemming from its past as an antique mansion turned hotel. We were given a loft room, which unfortunately didn’t have any windows with a view, and the space was a bit cramped for two large suitcases. On the plus side, the bathroom had a beautiful design. Breakfast was ok, though nothing to rave about. The hotel is a bit of a walk from most attractions unless you opt for a water taxi, with a water taxi stop conveniently located right outside the hotel.

Great location 5min walk from San Stae Vaporetto stop which means you can get from Marco Polo airport on AliLaguna Orange line. It’s smacked in the middle of Venice making walking to major landmarks easy in 20-30min. Front staffs and porter were helpful and friendly. It’s nicely decorated. No lift but the Room was large and clean. Best was the deck to have coffee overlooking Grand Canal. Bathroom and linen were clean. Highly recommended.

Lovely, perfect hotel for solo traveler

The view of the city from the breakfast area in the morning was the most beautiful! The hotel has a stately feel, but the bathrooms have been renovated and are very clean, so I had a very comfortable stay. It's about a 5-minute walk from the vaporetto station, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to take a taxi. They will store your luggage for you, but the luggage room is self-service, which was a bit worrying.

The room is spacious and clean! The price is really good for such a room! My room is on the first floor and the bathroom is equipped with a ventilator to remove moisture. The hotel front desk is very good in English and communication is barrier-free!

The path was a little confusing, but I was able to get there without getting lost by using Google Maps. I could hear the voices of other rooms, but I guess that's just how it is in Italy. Also, it was hard to go up the stairs... But the service and the room (especially the bed and bathtub) were great. Thank you!

It's a perfect hotel. When I checked in, the Italian guy at the front desk took me to the room. I was shocked and upgraded me to a deluxe king room. I swear this is the largest room I've ever stayed in in Europe, and there was a fever in the room. kettle. The balcony on the second floor of the hotel faces the Grand Canal. The scenery during the day and night is breathtaking. It is no exaggeration to say that the hotel itself is a check-in attraction. It only takes 10 minutes to walk from the island's train station to the hotel. The hotel also has a private pier. Venice is used for taxis, hahaha. The breakfast is also unbeatable! All in all, it’s great!

I really liked the hotel, from start to finish! The breakfasts are excellent, the view from the veranda of the Grand Canal of Venice is unforgettable, the rooms are clean, the prices for the mini bar in the room are cheaper than in the night shops! I will definitely come back!

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station and the Roman Forum. It is also convenient to take the airport bus from the Roman Forum to the airport; it is also within walking distance to various attractions. The service is good and the network is good. The only regret is that the single bed is so narrow, the room is small, and the table is so small that it can't even fit a piece of pizza.
