Aman Venice

If you're only staying one night in Venice, Aman is absolutely the top choice. Staying in a 16th-century palace in Venice and witnessing an unending romance, the hotel's hardware and software are both top-notch in Venice.

Everything was excellent, a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience.

The room, service, and breakfast were absolutely top-notch, nothing to complain about. The only downside is that the price is a bit high, so the value for money isn't great. Of course, everything is expensive in Venice, where space is at a premium, so it's understandable. It was still worth it for the experience.

The room was too small, not worth the price.

The room facilities had a dated feel, probably due to the old building's style. The room's heating was set to 30 degrees Celsius, but it suddenly got very cold, and the toilet wasn't heated. The service was also quite poor; despite having pre-ordered breakfast, there was an additional charge for breakfast, and the staff didn't explain the details of the extra charge. Water taxis to the pier/station outside the hotel were also at an extra cost of 105 euros, probably the worst experience I've had at any Aman hotel. Amenities were also limited. In conclusion: at over 20,000 yuan per room, it wasn't good value for money.

The overall environment of Aman Venice is not bad. It is located next to the Grand Canal. The building itself has a historical charm and continues the quiet and elegant style of Aman. However, the facilities are relatively ordinary, without too many surprises, and have not reached the standards of luxury hotels. The service is disappointing, which is the biggest complaint of this stay. Most of the employees are locals, with limited training and unfamiliar with the hotel itself. The staff who explained to us when we checked in even got the floor wrong. In particular, it is important to remind you not to use the hotel's laundry service. I sent a brand new suit for ironing, and after ironing, it was stained with iron scale, which was obviously caused by the equipment not being cleaned for many years. But the hotel not only did not take responsibility, but pushed it to me, with a perfunctory attitude, and even no apology. As a hotel under the Aman brand, such service level should not appear. Overall, Aman Venice is inferior to other Aman hotels in terms of hardware and service. It is recommended to lower expectations. The experience is more like a boutique hotel "changed shell" rather than the real Aman level.
