The hotel was lovely and romantic, its an amazing location. Tip: if you're flying in, fly in during the day as it's quite a long distance to walk to if you don't get the boat in

We just returned today from our amazing trip to Venice, where we stayed at this hotel. This was an amazing hotel; the breakfast was great, and the people were very kind and helpful. The receptionist gave us a free map and told us which water buses to take to get to the islands we wanted to visit. The room was very clean and spacious, with an amazing view. The location was perfect, in the city centre but away from the crowds, so we could sleep peacefully at night. I definitely recommend it, and we are definitely coming back.

Great hotel with friendly staff in an excellent location. It is very close to the airport water bus stop and we were able to walk to the hotel in five minutes. It is also well placed to walk to all landmarks and other areas of the city. Breakfast options are limited but good and the service is great.

Lovely hotel close to the centre of Venice. Sat by a canal where you can watch gondolas sailing past. Room was large, clean and comfortable with separate sitting area. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Thank you to Mark and Andy for advice on the area and directions. Also a special thank you for organising the beautiful cake and wine for my husbands birthday celebration. Hotel close to lots of bars and restaurants.

I would thoroughly recommend this charming little hotel run by the kindest and friendliest people, Mark and John. It was so close to the water taxi and really good base for discovering Venice. It has beautiful rooms and views I would 100% recommend

I stayed here for three nights in July 2024 with two children (primary and teen). Hotel - the hotel is in the perfect location, we were able to walk to most attractions and it’s close to water bus stops. The hotel is just beautiful and elegant. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries stocked up. Shower was on the small side however fine for us. Smart TV in room which was great for evenings in. We stayed above the courtyard however didn’t find this loud at all and no issues sleeping. We had breakfast included and this was a lovely traditional breakfast with coffee, pastries etc. Staff were friendly and approachable; gave good advice on navigating our way around the city and a map given on arrival really helped! On the evenings we sat on the private dock and watched the boats go by. It was so peaceful. Hotel within walking distance to all main attractions such as Rialto bridge, St Marks etc. I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Venice.

Truly amazing hotel in a great area. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us a map of the area and explaining it too. the location is great, far enough away from San Marco to beat the huge tourist crowds, and so full of character and friendly locals. The room we stayed in was dated but the perfect vibe for Venice. Very clean, bed was SO comfortable (I slept great every night), air con is perfect, plus the room also comes with a hairdryer (old but useable) which was useful and not listed anywhere when booking. Tourist tax was paid at checkout rather than check in. We would definitely stay here again.

We received a free upgrade to a lovely room with beautiful views. The service was brilliant, breakfast basic with good choice of drinks. Location is fantastic! We dined in the restaurant twice during our stay in Venice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I stayed at this hotel in 2011 and liked it enough to go back this year with my family. While in 2011 the bed was hard, air conditioning weak, and the shower too small to pick up dropped soap without opening the door, this experience was quite different. We stayed in the family room which had a separate bedroom and a pull out in the front room. Decorations were charming and classic Venetian. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was close to the standard in our house in the US! We had WiFi but it didn’t work that well from our room. The bathroom was quite big by European standards and the shower was large with good water pressure. But the staff makes the hotel worthwhile. They made us cappuccinos in the morning, lent us an iron to iron our clothes, brought extra blankets, and since we were checking out prior to breakfast, they packed us a HUGE boxed breakfast complete with fresh and bagged pastries, little pots of jam, Nutella, and honey, cutlery, the works. I would 100% stay here again next time in Venice. It’s in a quiet neighborhood; a 10 minute walk to both San Marco and Rialto, tons of good restaurants within walking distance, and about a mile and a quarter walk to the train station.

We had a great stay at this small hotel. We were travelling as a family of 4, and booked the quad room. The room had a bed and a double sofa bed. The shower was tiny and quite hard to move in. Breakfast was lovely - pastries, yoghurt, bread, cold meat, cheese, eggs and bacon. Staff were super helpful and friendly and it was a great location.

This is a nice hotel but definitely only 3 star. The room we stayed in was spacious but as others have said the shower was tiny and only really worked when held lower down- when on its shower hook there was not sufficient pressure. Breakfast was also average- very little for those of us who are gluten free. The staff are friendly, the location quiet and yet within walking distance of st marks, Rialto etc. we has a room overlooking the courtyard and we were disturbed by the live music in the restaurant. It does stop at 10.30/11 but if you have children/want a peaceful evening, it is a bit annoying.

My husband & I stayed 5 nights in a canal view room at Locanda La Corte. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Castello, LLC is an easy walk to the Rialto Bridge, San Marco, vaporetto stops and numerous osteries and cafes. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Being on the canal was lovely and not noisy, as the thick windows blocked noise. If you are sensitive to morning noise, be aware the room choice might not be for you. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Mar, Jon & Andy. Morning breakfast, served in the cheerful outside courtyard, was plentiful with eggs, bacon, breads and yogurt. The on premise restaurant served an excellent dinner with mellow music each night. We highly recommend a stay at LLC!

Nice quiet neighborhood, close to the Ospital vaporetto and Alilaguna dock. Just two bridges to cross. It also has a watergate if you want to have a water taxi drop you off to the property. Close walk to the iconic Aqua Alta book store. Nice breakfast in the courtyard. They have a restaurant attached as well. 10 min walk to San Marco Square or the Realto Bridge.

This hotel is in a lovely, quiet location, right by the canal. It is handy for the Ospedale vaporetto stop. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a well equipped bathroom including a range of complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, with pastries and coffee and can be eaten in the internal courtyard which was beautiful. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. On my birthday, I was even brought a special dessert at breakfast which really made my day! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
