Reviews of Locanda Barbarigo

This quiet space tucked into an off path hotel provided a good jumping off point for the city and as a midday respite from the heat and humidity. We had four in the room which didn’t leave much for privacy but the room was spacious. High ceilings and large shuttered windows helped. Effective air conditioning was a blessing. Small bathroom was a bit tough to navigate for four. Outside of the room was a sitting area with tables that made our morning meal feel a bit more normal as the lobby to the hotel was basically just for checking in. Very hospitable, English speaking hosts. Nearby coffee shop was well stocked with super friendly staff.

We had a small room in the attic! Nothing like the beautiful rooms you see on the pictures! Beware of which room you're booking! It really ruined our stay in Venice, and the hotel staff (that we never saw by the way) was not keen on finding solutions.

Stayed here in October 22 and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. We booked a no frills mini break in Venice and so was expecting cheap and cheerful, which would have been fine. You get what you pay for. However, the Locanda Barbarigo exceeded our expectations. 5 minutes walk to St Marks Square but tucked away from the crowds. We stayed in the top floor studio which had a spacious living room and a separate bedroom overlooking the courtyard. Continental breakfast was served at €5 extra in the rooms, bargain! Couldn’t fault the staff, they were helpful and accommodating. All in all a lovely few days in this beautiful city in a great little B&B

Excellent location for staying and visiting the city of Venice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and typical Venetian furnishings. Canal view, breakfast is served in the room with the possibility of using the breakfast room. Super recommended!

excellent hotel-inn in the center of Venice. large rooms, cleanliness, somewhat spartan breakfast served directly in your room. overlooking a canal, it is an excellent solution for visiting Venice. The price is reasonable.

Posizione della locanda top, a due pass da piazza San Marco. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile a qualsiasi ora. Struttura silenziosa e letti molto comodi. Stanza dalle dimensioni davvero risicate in cui si faceva fatica a muoversi. Di fatto non c’era modo di poggiare i bagagli in maniera agevole. Consiglierei di rinnovare il copriletto, e magari far trovare almeno una bottiglietta d’acqua di benvenuto. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo disguido con la biancheria, ma può succedere. Esperienza comunque positiva

Camera pulita e grande, servizio dello staff accogliente e gentile. Posizione è estremamente strategica a 5 minuti da piazza San Marco. Unica pecca il letto un pochino scomodo e il telefono della doccia che non si regge alla staffa. Nell’insieme lo consiglio sicuramente, da tornarci di nuovo.

Posizione ottimale, a due passi da Piazza san Marco, facile da raggiungere. Mi sono trovata benissimo. Gentilezza, disponibilità, pulizia e serietà sono aggettivi che si addicono perfettamente. La signora alla reception è molto cortese. La consiglio

A due passi da San Marco, ottima posizione, anche per l’arrivo con il vaporetto, vari locali bar ecc nelle vicinanze. Parliamo ora dell’interno struttura, ahimè un po datato, stile veneziano ok, ma prezzo-qualità non ottimo, potevo pagare un po di meno per giunta senza la colazione inclusa. Camera. Piccola ma essenziale, ottimo l’affaccio su uno dei canali veneziani, bellissima atmosfera. Se gli si dà una migliorata e top. Reception aperta solo mezza giornata, Staff cordiale e disponibile. Comunque consigliato.
