Hotel Canal

The stay was good if you book a better room like a quadruple room where ac works. In other cheaper room the AC was not working and when we asked to turn it on it still wasn't making the room cold at all. Room had a small fridge but no iron and iron board. Staff was helpful and nice and breakfast was average but enough to fill your stomach.

Good location right across from the canal from the train station, room was ok, good for 1 night stay , the bed was super uncomfortable the mattress was as soft as a sponge , some of the staff was not very cordial, hotel is dated visible in the amenities and decor, my room had a partial view of the canal , which was nice

The hotel is in a perfect location. The room was pretty good, clean, with a view on the canal. Breakfast was great! The only problem was the smell in the toilet.

Zero-Star Experience – Misleading Photos and Poor Service My stay at Canal Hotel Venice was extremely disappointing. The pictures shown online are very misleading. In fact, the front building pictures displayed on the Trip.com website are not even of this hotel — they appear to be of a building located across the canal, which creates a completely false impression of the property. When we arrived, the actual hotel building looked poorly maintained. The front wall and several windows seem to be falling apart, giving the place a very neglected appearance. The concierge staff were rude and unhelpful, and the kitchen staff were equally unfriendly. Their attitude towards guests was unprofessional and made the stay even more unpleasant. What was most concerning was the hygiene in the kitchen area, which appeared to be poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. This is very worrying when food is being prepared there. Breakfast was also very basic with very limited options and low quality. Overall, the experience was very disappointing due to misleading pictures, rude staff, poor hygiene standards, and a badly maintained building. I would not recommend staying here.

Great location and breakfast. But no lifts and assigning 2nd floor to senior citizens is not ideal. Also there were lots of mosquitoes in our room, we’ve been eaten alive!

The hotel in good location. Otherwise hotel’s reception, breakfast restaurants and my room all different buildings. Furniture was very old, feel not comfortable
