An old-fashioned hotel. The room had a canal view. Good breakfast and staff.

The location is quite convenient. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet location, easy to access. The room is in good size, clean, in old fashioned style. Only drawback is they only take cash for city tax payment

This hotel is great because it's close to Santa Lucia Station, so you don't have to drag heavy luggage over bridges. The room was simple but clean, and daily housekeeping was provided. Check-in was smooth. They also offer luggage storage before check-in. Just be aware that luggage storage is only available until 6:00 PM, so plan your check-in accordingly. The room had a nice view since it was riverside. Plus, there were many highly-rated restaurants along the river, so finding a place to eat was never an issue. On the downside, the nearby restaurants stayed open late, and I could hear people talking in my room. Also, there was no complimentary water (it was a minibar setup). So, I recommend buying water and other necessities beforehand at a store like Coop.

Good, solid stay. It's as advertised, has the 1437 vibe to the place. They accomodated late check out, had a good location by a canal and walkable from the St. Lucia Station. Do check the local municipal laws, apparently central AC is allowed only for a few months in the summer, unfortunately our stay was out of that period, and we had the top floor, so the room got pretty hot. We were given a fan to alleviate the heat, it kind of helped.

I really liked the hotel. I booked a suite and it has a very large and beautiful balcony. I also loved the location; it's very close to the train station, so you can easily walk there with luggage.

We booked a suite and it was great. The balcony had a direct view of the canal, there were comfortable places to sit, and the building felt authentic with older furniture. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s located on a wide canal where boats pass at night, so it can be quite noisy if the window is open

Great location, just 10 minutes from the station. The room was large and clean. However, there was a snag: we were checked into an uncleaned room and had to wait another hour.

I booked a room that sleeps four, with two single beds that are usually set up as sofas. The room is incredibly spacious and located on the top floor. The only downside is that it doesn't have a water view.

We had a suite with a balcony and a canal view – absolutely amazing! The room was spacious. Yes, the furniture is a bit old, but it adds to its charm. We walked quickly from the train station. A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch!
