Reviews of Albergo Marin

Allegro Marin is situated next to the train station. Though it maybe convenient if you are planning to travel elsewhere by train, you cannot avoid dragging your luggage across a bridge, unless you hire a luggage porter. The attractions are quite far away if you don’t travel by ferry, at least 20 minutes walk away. Other than my thoughts on location, I find the hotel staff friendly and hospitable. When having breakfast, I only need to find my table and be seated. It came with complimentary freshly made bacon and eggs and a charcuterie board! No complaint about the service.

A hidden gem. It's listed as only one-star but the services and amenities are no less than a three-star accommodation. The team makes sure you are comfortable and have an amazing stay. A blessing for budget travellers!

Location was too good near canal & station.. Breakfast was good & so many options to choose . The behaviour of the receptionist (sorry I forgot his name) was too good and also guided us to visit Venice

Clean, warm, and cozy room with hot water and air con keeping my warm all night. There was no loud noise at night. The hotel is very close to the bus stop. The staff is super nice! Very kind and helpful.

The location is good. Room is big with scented woods smell. But no lift. Have to cross the bridge with heavy luggage too from train station. We have nice welcome drinks from the fridge daily with beer and juice. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to give us information about the city.

The hotel is wonderful, starting from the location and excellent breakfast, but what impressed us most was the staff and their attitude towards guests. I would like to especially mention the reception staff; we were pleasantly surprised by the Russian-speaking staff. Thank you to the hotel for the excellent service, we will be happy to return!

Everything is great, and the location is near the train station, which is quite convenient. The only downside is that there's no elevator.

Wonderful apartment not far from the train station. Everything is convenient, and there's a wonderful bakery nearby with delicious croissants and affordable coffee. You can check in very late, although the registration is in a different location, but it's close to the train station and the apartment. Everything is clear. We recommend it.

The receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind! The lady at breakfast was also very nice! Overall, I would definitely choose this restaurant again next time I'm in Venice.

I gave the service 3 stars because, unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar, which I find a bit of a shame. But overall, it's a very good hotel and I recommend it 100%. It's very well located, close to everything, very quiet, and very clean. The staff are super friendly and always smiling; they even carried our luggage to our room.

It is a slightly run-down accommodation with a friendly host. You have to cross a bridge from Santa Lucia Station, but it is relatively close. (Please be careful, as there are people who pretend to carry your luggage out of kindness but suddenly demand money from travelers once you have crossed the bridge.)

The service was absolutely terrible; they were completely unwilling to help. I strongly advise against it. I understand Venice is a tourist hotspot, but basic service etiquette and respect for customers are still essential. This is something I should definitely avoid.
