Al Campanile Madonna Dell'Orto

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2025 as a family of four (two adults and two children), and this apartment worked really well for our needs. We received a great written guide by WhatsApp the day before our arrival. The location is excellent — right next to Chiesa Madonna dell’Orto, with a peaceful view of the church from the courtyard. It felt like a more authentic, quiet part of Venice, and the locked gate to the courtyard gave us a real sense of safety. We could walk to many places and easily catch the vaporetto to Lido, San Marco, and even the airport. Pictures represent this place well. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It had a feel similar to renting a summerhouse in Denmark — everything was ready for us on arrival: full kitchen with pans and service, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, two bathrooms (with both shower and tub), towels, soap, toilet paper, and even coffee capsules. It’s not luxurious, but very functional and comfortable. A couple of small points: the stair railing was loose (so our youngest slept downstairs), and a few lightbulbs needed replacing. I also had a minor issue with dust allergies from using the duvet (I am not good with aircon at night like the rest of my family), though my family not using duvet, had no trouble at all. In summary, a very safe, family-friendly, and practical base for exploring Venice — highly recommended for those looking for comfort and convenience rather than luxury.
