Ca' San Rocco was delightful. About a 5-10 minute stroll from the bus station and nearest water taxi drop off point. We had a large traditional room which was spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was perfect, really hot towel rail and loads of hot water. Our booking came with a traditional continental breakfast which was ideal. The owners could not have been more helpful. It is perfectly situated and you can get to the Rialto Bridge in about 15-20 minutes. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

A small hotel in a quiet area. 8 mins walk from the main car parks, bus terminal etc. Away from the hectic, crowded areas of Rialto Bridge and St. Marc’s Square but easy to walk to them in 15 mins. Restaurants and shops nearby.

I can’t recommend this beautiful little hotel enough. This is the second time we have visited Venice and we have stayed here both times and I’m so glad we did. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The hotel is in a fantastic location surrounded by small bars and restaurants that are all superbly priced and great quality. However, the best part is that the young ladies who run the hotel are amazing and really make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out if their way to provide a very personal service. We will return. Thank you

The experience was okay overall but not ideal. We asked for one room with a double bed and were given a room with 2 single beds. The room we stayed in was facing one of the internal not so populated roads but seems it was a popular spot where locals would meet up during the night and drink. This made it terrible or impossible to sleep as the noise was too loud and the windows didn’t seem to insulate at all. Furthermore, last day when we were checking out, we were told the tourist tax can only be paid in cash. Would have been nice if they would have let us know beforehand and save us from the anxiety of missing our flight.

Nice staff, quite location. Train and bus stations in walking distance. Very clear in the rooms and bath. The design of the hotel is very suitable for the mood of Venice.

Fantastic location. Very convenient for the train station but very peaceful and close to lots of nice, less touristy restaurants and canals etc. it was so enjoyable to just wander around the area.
The property and room was lovely, looking out over private gardens.
Only minor point was the insistence on paying the city tax in cash. All other places we have stayed were happy to add it onto the credit card bill.
