I was stayed here for 3 nights. The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes from the train station and a Vaporetto station almost right in front of the door. Bars and restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity. The room ( EZ under the roof ) is very small, spartanian furnished, a sharp stairs and the ceiling is very low so I could not stand up with my 1.80m. The bathroom is small. When you are big or very bodybuilding, it becomes difficult. I hit the knees on the wall when I sat on the toilet. After my arrival, I found hair on the ground and dust that was not only one day old. What I found quite effraying. After I told the host, my room was cleaned immediately and then it was okay. I was given the ”tassa di soggiorn” as an excuse. That was very nice. Sergio was already friendly, but not excessive, as I had already read in other reviews. The famous Italian kindness and kindness I have not experience. Specially excellent is the lovely and handmade breakfast made by Marcella. She is a very nice host who provided me with everything I needed. Also tips that you should have seen. Thank you, Marcella for this. 😊 Venice is an amazing beautiful city and I will certainly come back. But you'll choose another accommodation!

I went on a trip with my daughter and we had the pleasure of staying two nights at the hotel. It starts with the check in, which was warm and welcoming. We were given a small tour and history of the floor we stayed on and then shown our room. WOW - it was spacious, spotless and serene. We had a garden view room and it does not disappoint. The balcony was magical and the tranquil gardens were inviting. The bathroom is huge and comes with Ferragamo toiletries, which smells heavenly and feel as luxurious as you expect. The bed is comfortable and big without feeling overwhelming. The daily breakfast was wonderful. It is not buffet style, which I was happily surprised by. The dining room is not too big, so you would think it would feel crowded and be loud. It was neither. The guest service - being recommended where to enjoy a great meal and then having them make a reservation for you - was appreciated and just that extra touch. I can’t wait to go back.

an excellent hotel with excellent service. We had 5 rooms reserved at the hotel. We left the hotel to go to Ravenna via the trains. We left our Apple air pods in of one the rooms. The gentleman from the front desk (morning shift - sorry I don’t remember his name) on his own walked over the train station, tracked us down and surprised us to give us the air pods. I travel a lot and have never seen such exceptional service. Literally, because of his level of exceptional service from when we checked in to now, we decided to change our hotels (when we return from the cruise) to stay again at The Carlton because of his above and beyond attitude. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding experience from the point of when we first checked in.

Come out of the train station and follow the navigation. It's easy to find hahaha, but it's actually opposite the station and walks into the alley. The handsome guys at the front desk are very nice. Check-in time is two o'clock in the afternoon. We arrived around ten o'clock in the morning. Fortunately, we were able to check in after half an hour. There is a street opposite the station, there are many people at night, and there is a supermarket which is very convenient. It happened to meet Venice once in a hundred years. The water level is good, the hotel is located high, and the first floor is fine. Although there are not many types of breakfast, the croissant likes it! The hotel does not have hot water, you can go to the front desk to get it, the city tax for 2 people and 2 nights is 12 euros!

Fabulous location, not too close to the crazyness of St Marks square during Carnival, but close to the railway station, water bus and bridge over the Grand Canal. staff extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. lovely room, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but there is a safe and a mini bar. Breakfast was very nice self service, good selection. will definitely be going again next year at the same time.
