"Absolutely devastated by my recent experience at a supposed 5-star hotel. After paying a hefty $500 per night, I arrived to find my reservation non-existent. Hours of waiting, uncleaned rooms, and endless frustration later, I'm left questioning the very definition of hospitality. The hotel and room are very good. Free shuttle was provided between hotel and San Marco at the time of my visit. The staff is very helpful and handle my request promptly. I also enjoy the time in blue bar which has excellent service and food. Highly recommended.

Great hotel to stay in….. would prefer is hotel shuttle accommodate the luggage movement to and from the hotel

Structure and staff very helpful. I had to change the reservation to the non-changeable rate, they accepted it and fixed it. They are very kind! Compliments!

Excellent location with the possibility of being in Venice in 20 minutes maximum. The heated swimming pool is very good and spend the whole day in Venice. It’s a little too long so it allowed for windows of rest.

Historic structure of the glam Venice of years gone by, now presents itself as vintage. Probably for the management the cost for the now essential renovations of the building and the rooms is not sustainable. More suitable for an elderly audience than for young people. The effort to innovate some spaces (gym, swimming pool, outdoors) is commendable. Excellent young restaurant staff, breakfasts, swimming pool. Not so the reception management, with an anachronistic and laughable snobbish attitude, not at all professional.

Very Middle Eastern style hotel. Newly renovated, probably due to the relationship of the Venice Film Festival, the overall price is on the high side. I arrived at the store at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and I didn't check in until 5 o'clock. Started taking me to a very small room with a door to the connecting room. There is no balcony, which is completely different from the hotel pictures provided by Ctrip. I specially chose a large room, but when I went to the front desk of the hotel, they said they didn't know where I booked it from. I showed them pictures from Ctrip, and they said it was a sea view room, and the price was different. I communicated with the hotel myself, and the hotel coordinated and changed my room with a very arrogant attitude. Lido has a good view of the Adriatic Sea, and the beach is full of shells, so you can't go into the sea. So be it, will not live again. Ctrip's agent is too misleading, and the picture is not the actual room type picture of the hotel at all. Ctrip did not reply any follow-up. A Coke costs 10 Euros and a Tramisu 15 Euros. After check-in, you can take the hotel's boat to San Marco for free for 20 minutes, but you can't bring luggage. You can only call a taxi for 100 Euros with luggage.
