An older but very central and very comfy little hotel. It has a bit of "Fawlty Towers" vibe to it, but meant in a very positive way. Beds are very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Parking is recomended at the nearby Raadhuisplein since you can buy a parking ticket at the hotel for only 2 EUR.

Nice room, food (breakfast and dinner) and staff were excellent; quite warm when we were there so open windows meant noise from outside in the square and church bells opposite was intrusive sometimes. Good location in the centre of town.

I had quite a large room, a bit dated would have preferred a room without carpet and with better soundproofing but the bed, couch and sofa were very comfortable. Facilities for tea are in the rooms but no coffee which is okay for me because I seldom drink coffee. TV with plenty of channels. The service is good and friendly, when I booked the room on premises the manager lowered the price so I suggest that if possible you book personally and not online, maybe you will be lucky too. Breakfast was okay, Dutch/continental style.

The Orange committee held the reception after the annual remembrance day at the Zwaan. The served appetizers were delicious, the staff is professional and very friendly. If you are looking for a good meal or a nice place to stay I would definitely recommend this place.

Kamer 7 en 8, Deluxe kamers, naar de standaard van de jaren 80, tot rafels versleten handdoeken, gebroken vloerlamp, kapotte tissuedoos, schimmel in de kitvoegen, enkel glas waardoor al beslagen ramen bij aankomst, hangende snoeren, karig ontbijt waarbij de luxe max. 1 croissant p.p. was en er geen extra kon krijgen, gèèn rook/brandmelders op de kamers, een vereiste notabene (waar blijkbaar de gemeente Venray ook geen verantwoordelijkheid in neemt). Op zaterdagavond om 22.15 uur beneden de bar al dicht en op de kamer de minibar leeg, niet echt gastvrij. Ingediende klacht per email onbehandeld, totaal geen reactie, ondanks dringend verzoek te reageren. Bij eerder telefooncontact boze communicatie van de eigenaresse. Voor de prijs van € 149.- voor een tweepersoons kamer uitermate bedroevend resultaat. Tip: overnacht nooit in een hotelkamer zonder rook/brandmelder.

Ik had vis besteld en toen kreeg ik varken op me bord, ik ben gelovig en van mijn geloof eet ik geen varkensvlees, toen ik het aangaf zei hij dat ik het aan had moeten geven terwijl er op het menu kaart vis en groenten staat en nergens vermeld dat er bacon doorheen zat hij vond dat ik het aan had moeten geven maar hoe als het er niet opstaat!! Ik kon het eten niet meer aanraken of opeten maar moest wel de volle pond betalem

Wij hebben hier gegeten op 25 februari 2023 met twee tieners erbij. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en het eten was van goede kwaliteit. Er is een ontspannen sfeer. We hebben de avond doorgebracht met een relaxt gevoel. Het interieur ziet er gezellig uit. Een mooie afsluiting van deze dag en voor herhaling vatbaar.

Hotel ligt midden in het centrum, maar je kan vlakbij goed parkeren. Hadden daar een grote kamer met uitzicht op het plein voor het hotel. We hebben er ook heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Al met al erg geslaagd. We komen er zeker nog eens terug.
