Hotel Baluarte

The hotel itself it's clean the morning staff Letty was friendly helpful and polite but the evening staff lady on the other hand was rude and very Curt. The room smell like mold, mildew and oder couldn't put my finger on the right word there was mold on the walls. the AC control is only one speed. You can hear everything from the rooms above to the side and below you. I couldn't get a good night's sleep the three nights I stay there because it was so loud and noisy.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Shower worked well. Pool was a lovely area A good breakfast was available

The service was ok in general, in spite of minor shortcomings, in particular poor hot water in the bathroom at night. However, the most relevant issue in general was that I was charged twice for taxes when paying online with *******: the original price for 4 nights included taxes, but when looking at the final price for the room that I booked I was charged again with taxes!!! Please, check this issue! Thanks.

Clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, close to the Zócolo and malecón, and has a pool. I will stay here again next time I visit Veracruz! Only improvement I would appreciate is a jacuzzi.

The property is very nice, old but they keep it nice and clean. Front desk personal ok, a little more friendly could be nice. Missing a coffee maker and servi

What a disappointment It was a pity our stay in this hotel. We had stayed a long time ago and never had an issue here. However, this time the staff was not welcoming, incredibly rude and did not understand a sensitive situation regarding my niece, who is a minor.
