The hotel was right off Interstate 90, and 30 minutes from the city of Syracuse. A continental breakfast was included which was basic: bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, tea, oranges. The room was spacious; soundproofing was good.

As I was not able to get a reservation at Turnstone, I opted for La Quinta Inn and suites. I was pleasantly surprised from the check in to the room . Room was clean and well equipped. Had a refrigerator, small microwave and coffee pot. It was definitely a great value.

***BED BUGS*** My room had bed bugs and when I brought it to the attention of staff they weren’t concerned what so ever. Rooms were not clean, other people’s hair in the sheets/pillows, made me wonder if they even change the sheets. Staff isn’t the friendliest besides the overnight guy. Needless to say I checked out. **edited update** I made a claim then was contacted by management a few days later, more or less he said it wasn’t their fault and there was nothing wrong with the room, in fact he said the room is exactly as you left it if you want to come look. My response was absolutely not and it’s been 3 days and nothing was done about the room? By our conversation and his mannerisms he didn’t care what so ever and seems to be a normal for this La Quinta. Zero remorse at all. Made it seem like it was my fault. Customer service was absolutely horrible. I would not stay here unless your okay with bed bugs! Speaking with more people in the area have said they have heard this before. Be careful !

The shuttle attendant was awesome and hotel staff was great!! Luxury at its finest. Clean and breakfast was very good!! Loved the automatic pancake machine! I want one. Bed was comfy and clean! Will visit again

We stayed here because we had tickets to a show at Turning Stone. The free shuttle back and forth was perfect. The driver was so nice and got us there in a couple minutes. The staff at this hotel were super friendly. The entire hotel was spotless. The free breakfast has a great variety to choose from.

I stayed here for a couple nights and it was just okay. The room just needed some small repairs and updates. I had some lamps out in my room and the wall plugs were all worn out and I couldn’t get my phone to charge. The breakfast was just cereal and muffins. They charge a lot of money per night for muffins and cereal and waffles. Hopefully they will improve those couple things and it wouldn’t be a bad place to stay

The stay was very good. I would stay again when in the area. My room was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I did not use other facilities at the hotel, but everything looked great. My only neutral comment is the breakfast was not great, just ok. It did not keep up with the rest of the property.

Upon check-in, they still have the COVID plexiglass up, it looks unkept. This hotel needs a deep clean. All the floors need a good scrub, there was dirt in every corner of the elevator and I had to do a wipe down of every surface of the room. Not a pleasant stay! The GM needs to walk the hotel and look at it with guest eyes!

This is our second stay at the La Quinta in Verona, New York. And our impression was the same as last time. This is a very large hotel that seems to be sparsely populated. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom seemed to have new fixtures and seemed clean. The furniture in the room left a lot to be desired, however. The couch and the chair were so dirty I wouldn’t sit on them. I have no idea how they could pass muster day in and day out without being either cleaned or replaced! It did make me wonder about the general cleanliness of my room and hotel given their state. Staff were generally friendly. Breakfast was uninspired with just the basics, no proteins. This is a pet friendly hotel, and we could tell in our room because we were traveling with a small dog, and she was sniffing everywhere in the room, indicating that the room had not been deep cleaned from previous dogs. I do appreciate that they were a pet friendly hotel with no charge for our pet. This was an average stay, and we will likely stay here again as we travel across New York State with our small dog but it’s certainly not something especially look forward to.
