Nuova Opera Rooms

Our stay here was excellent. After a request our kids were setup with beds in the lounge area, while my wife and I had a lovely bedroom to ourselves. The apartment has a large patio with great views towards the mountains in one direction and the city in the other. There was a small kitchenette in our apartment and a larger communal kitchen area with another, shared patio along the corridor. The apartment was very clean, modern (especially bathroom), felt secure and was a great place to base ourselves for a few days in Verona. The bus stops right outside the apartments and it's only a 10 minute ride to the castle, from which it's a 5 min walk to the Arena. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Liked the check in process, called a number and they open the doors for you over the phone, very good technology in rooms such as how blinds open and the views are stunning! Nice and modern bathroom, lovely little set up at the hotel and felt safe there.

We were 2 nights in April. Room is very nice. We had double and single bed. Mini fridge is in the room. Coffee and tea is offered and kitchen can be used on upper floor. Bathroom is modern and well equipped. You have everything what you need. Bus station is in front of the building.

I was slightly confused when we arrived as there was a fairly nondescript glass door in the front of an apartment block but the taxi driver explained (fortunately) that we had to go up to the fifth floor to check in, so the actual hotel apartments seem to occupy the top few floors of the block. Reception is only open until 1pm after which you have to ring a number to get access. However, the lady on reception was lovely and spoke very good english and we were soon in a very well appointed, clean modern and spacious room with wonderfully icy air-con. After 1pm there is a main door to the apartment block which is closed so you just use your room key to gain access. Location is in the suburbs, a pleasant 15 minute walk to the heart of Verona. We arrived on a Sunday which apparently coincided with a religious holiday on the Monday so unfortunately every where (apart from the lifesaving Migross supermarket open til 1pm Sunday and normal hours every other day, also only about 100m from the apartment) was closed. It was like a ghost town but central Verona was open to cater for the tourists with plenty of restaurants and cafes doing a good trade. I would definitely stay here again as the rooms are fabulous, there is a lovely kitchen facility if required and the roof top terrace is amazing, just get used to it not operating quite like a normal hotel and you'll be fine.

Only praise honestly. Easily reached from high way, great remote check-in instructions, spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean, shared kitchen in case you stay longer, parking garage close by. It is a 20-minute walk from the old town, but with the huge supply of Lime scooters in the city it is so easy to move around. We loved staying out of the hustle, bustle, and heat. Also very reasonably priced (＜ €100.00) for the comfort they supply and considering it was high season.

I last visited Verona and stayed at the Nuova Opera room three years ago and with another visit to the city planned, it was great to be able to again stay in such a charming small hotel. The rooms were spotless, the welcome warm and so genuinely Italian, this is an absolute gem of a location. Special note has to be made of 'Linda' who runs reception - she was always more than ready to help visitors sort out their issues and as such, deserves an extra mention of thanks: it is care and service like this that make the Nuova somewhere to return to - for the 3rd time!
