Base Vevey

Our family of four stayed In in Base Vevey for three nights and we really enjoyed it! We liked the clean room with modern design, functional kitchen, on-site self-laundry service and convenient location. The staff are super friendly. We wanted to say special "Thank You" to the staff on Christmas day for letting us use the cafeteria and microwave to heat food and eat our lunch after we already checked out in the morning while no restaurant was open. That was super helpful! We will definitely stay here if we come to visit Vevey again. Love it!

The room with the kitchen is fabulous. I could not fault it in any way. Supermarkets are close by if you wish to eat in, the kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utilities for home cooking. Unfortunately, only paid parking. Self check-in was faultless.

Base Vevey is modern, clean and comfortable. Although the room and bathroom were small, they were well set out with kitchenette, all facilities and small dining table. It was quiet at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is well located, close to train station, bus stops, supermarkets, shops and lakes. There is a rooftop terrace with a view over Vevey.

Great place to stay, especially if it will be for a few days. We were in the Lake Geneva area for about a week, so we selected the one bedroom suite (bedroom, living room and kitchen). Clean, great location, very functional and super nice and professional young staff. Loved everything about Base Vevey! One thing to be aware of if traveling to Vevey is that there's a swarm of ************ hanging around near the Gare de Vevey (train station). A beautiful town marred by these immigrant criminals; so unfortunate.

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely hotel. Staff are very helpful and did their very best to brief us facilities of the hotel as well as the operation hours of the nearby shops and supermarket just to ensure that we can get our food to do some simple cooking in the room. The room is clean and new. The hotel is close to the train station and the bus station. Vevey is a very lovely town with lovely people. The people in this town are very helpful. Though some of them can't speak English, they made an effort to use sign language or drawing to communicate with us. We love Vevey!

While traveling in Switzerland with our family, our planned accommodations fell through mere hours before arriving to the Swiss Riviera. We were distraught. With unexpected good fortune we were able to find lodging in Base Vevey- miraculously transforming our trip. Our stay has been wonderful beyond all expectation. The town of Vevey, the hotel rooms and the staff have been friendly, cooperative and courteous in every way possible. We cannot thank the manager Aloise and his staff member Mehdi and Gabrielle enough. Their efforts have turned our initial difficulties into the highlight of our vacation. This town and its population are truly a gem of the Swiss Riviera. We will absolutely return and heartily recommend to everyone we know. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Also, as a mother and business owner, the kitchen was essential to a happy family and the WI-FI worked exceedingly well for all business meetings and work requirements. The balcony provided us with the most beautiful sunsets that are not done justice by pictures.
