Accommodations: Room # 2, non-ADA pool house brick building. Room is 1 bedroom with 1 Queen bed, INOP fireplace, 2 chairs, coffee stand. Stand in shower with no guide bar, low toilet, no ramp to get through door way for those immobile. You are 5 steps from entering swimming pool with corner water spout gargoyles for a quick dip. (It is not enclosed). Heater is in sufficient during our stay. However, host Kendra, did offer her hospitality to ensure we were warm during a midnight cold spell. Amenities: Coffee maker and mini-fridge. No microwave.no laundry. No gym. No pets. Family cemetary. Lovely house historical tour after breakfast is offered. Accessibility & Logistics: For travelers navigating with mobility aids (manual or motorized wheelchairs), this property offers limited accessibility and no elevators. Parking lot is uneven in spots. Narrow doorways. Parking: The property offers limited secured self-parking. Parking lot is slightly uneven. Taxes: MS tax, Vicksburg tax, hospitality fee. Dining & Service: Delicious complimentary hot breakfast. Additional cost for bar, lunch and dinner. Final note: 1856 Property is in remodeling and upkeep during our stay. That didn't shy us away. There is a remarkable 2 civil war cannon balls that lodged itself one into wall and the other in the floor space down to basement. For disabled who can do short walks, this is still ideal to visit. I'm oblivious to any spooks.
