Do'Petro Relax & Pool

Our recent stay at Do Petro in Vico Equense was simply outstanding and exceeded all expectations. We stayed in a Junior Suite as a family of four and found it exceptionally spacious, with more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably. The highlight was undoubtedly the enormous private balcony, offering breathtaking views across the Bay of Naples – the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sunset. The cleanliness throughout the property was absolutely impeccable. Every area was maintained to the highest standard, making us feel immediately at home. Breakfast each morning was a truly special experience. Far from a standard hotel buffet, everything was beautifully presented and featured an incredible selection of homemade cakes, biscuits, preserves and freshly baked bread. It was clear that great care and pride went into every detail. The property itself is set on a peaceful hillside amongst lush orange and lemon groves, creating a wonderfully authentic and relaxing atmosphere. Despite feeling secluded, it is perfectly positioned for exploring the region. What really made our stay memorable, however, were the hosts, Katerina and Genny. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful or attentive. Their local knowledge was invaluable, and they were always happy to provide recommendations and assist with arranging excursions, helping us make the most of our time in the area. Vico Equense is an ideal base for exploring the entire Amalfi Coast. The town itself has plenty of excellent restaurants and a relaxed, authentic feel. It is also superbly connected, with Sorrento just a short train ride away and Naples reachable in under an hour. Along the route are some of Italy’s most famous attractions, including Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius. We would wholeheartedly recommend Do Petro to anyone looking for a beautiful, family-run property that combines exceptional hospitality, stunning surroundings and a perfect location. We hope to return one day.

Just had a fabulous week at Do’Petro. Perfect location to visit lots of amazing Italian towns. The train station is literally a 10 minute walk which takes you directly into sorrento, typical hilly walk to return back to B&B. The guest rooms are really lovely and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is beautiful, all freshly made every morning, orange cake is yum! The staff & owners are attentive and always available. The pool is located in the Italian garden, surrounded by lots of beautiful fruit trees. Very quiet & relaxing after a busy day. Thank you Mike, Jo, Scarlett & Ol

I never managed to make a booking to stay. I was looking to book three rooms for October this year, howver, on enquiring about an airport transfer the response i received was this- we are not a taxi service, we are a B&B. Safe to say i will be looking to stay elsewhere……

Catarina and Michele are exceptional hosts and treated us with great courtesy. We stayed in their junior suite with large balcony looking towards Capri and the southern end of the bay of Naples. We witnessed spectacular sunsets. The breakfasts were all created with home products and home baking by Mike and Cat and served with consistently cheerful willingness by Donatello and Jenny (?). The room was spotless and cleaned each day. A short walk to the station meant that we could get to most places with ease without a car. We coped with the walk back up the hill as our fitness workout/sauna which would end in a cold shower or swim at Do Petro. We wish Do Petro and the family every success in the future.
