Batonka Guest Lodge

Cannot say enough positive things about the Batonka Guest Lodge! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Tendo was our greeter upon arrival and very helpful throughout our stay - kudos to Tendo! Fur that matter, all persons from the maintenance staff to the bar/kitchen staff consistently greeted and assisted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The grounds are lovely, well kempt and encourage relaxation. Our room was spacious and comfortable, including the bed. The location is just far enough off the "main drag" to be peaceful but still close to downtown Victoria Falls. You can walk downtown in less than 30 minutes or have Tendo arrange for you to be transported by a trusted driver. I highly recommend the Batonka Guest Lodge!

Batonka Guest Lodge is an oasis - enclosed gardens, charming rooms, friendly and helpful staff and absolutely delicious food! It’s very close to Victoria Falls, shops and the boarder if you are traveling to Zambia for a dip in Devil’s pool. Additionally the transportation and savvy drivers they arranged for us were excellent! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in Batonka Guest Lodge. It’s a lovely colonial style Lodge with mature gardens and two relaxing areas with swimming pools. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the relaxed atmosphere in the lodge was perfect for us after an adventurous safari experience.

Lovely pool view twin room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast options, average lunch & dinner ones though. Better off eating out. Spotlessly clean throughout. Would recommend staying as a base at the Falls.

This is a lovely colonial style lodge with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The service is very attentive without being intrusive, it was superb. The gardens/grounds are beautifully kept with two quiet swimming pools to relax in/by. We had a meal at the lodge on our first night which was excellent and exceeded our expectations - the steak really was very good. This is a perfect base to explore Victoria Falls or some some pre or post Safari relaxation.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. It felt like a green oasis amongst the dryer landscape outside if the lodge' gardens. All staff were friendly and helpful and really enjoyed our stay. The keyring keepsafe was also a lovely unexpected surprise. Thank you.

Our stay at Batonka Guest Lodge was truly exceptional from start to finish. The entire team was incredibly warm, friendly, and always willing to help. A special thank you to the staff for helping me organize a surprise birthday celebration for my wife, special mention to Rutendo, who spearheaded the planning. The beautiful room decorations and birthday cake exceeded my expectations, and she absolutely loved every moment. Their attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. From the smooth online booking process to the warm check-in and seamless check-out, everything was handled professionally and with genuine care. The lodge and the garden was well cared for and beautiful with only a very short drive to Vic falls.Our room was wonderful with a balcony overlooking the garden.Breakfast was great and so were the staff, always there to help. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Batonka Lodge and thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable.
