Had an absolute wonderful stay at Shongwe Lookout while I was in Victoria Falls. The grounds are lush and beautifully kept. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and there was a huge selection to choose from--the meal I had was tasty, fresh, and a huge serving (so much that I couldn't eat it all!). Drinking water was available in the room and loved that they had USB charging ports in the room so that I didn't have to drag out my converter! Would be nice if they were a little closer to the main area of town, but getting transportation wasn't ever an issue.

This was my first visit to Victoria Falls. Shongwe Lookout Lodge had been recommended by others as a good place to stay, and it certainly didn't fail. My room was just the right size and very comfortable with a delicate balance of traditional style with a modern twist. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. They really ensured that my stay was a memorable and pleasant one. The reception staff assisted us in booking safaris and helicopter rides and the process was very smooth. I can really recommend a stay

This hotel is a hidden gem - loved the room and the gardens, the pool and the restaurant area! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel ! Loved it ! The food at the restaurant was go good that you don’t have to go anywhere else! The staff were wonderful and room was spacious, nice and clean !

My husband and I found the hotel just by chance on *********** and we chose it because of the good reviews we saw. I am writing to confirm that based on our experience everything good about this place is true! An amazing place with very nice staff, very accommodating, very clean, and more than anything an amazing kind chef…we will certainly choose this place again for sure should we come back to VicFalls. Thank you so much to all their great staff for making our stay very special

We had a great time at Shongwe Lookout, the staff was very friendly and helped us organize a dinner cruise (which I highly recommend!!) and put us in touch with a driver who drove us to the Victoria Falls park. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the food in the restaurant was very good, both for breakfast and dinner. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

We enjoyed the atmosphere so much at Shongwe that we came back every night we stayed in Vic Falls. The tower is a great place to meet other travelers, enjoy the view and imbibe from the good bar selections. From there we thoroughly enjoyed (eventually) sampling most of the dinner menu. The chef and all staff went out of their way to be sure we were well fed and comfortable. Now that we have discovered Shongwe, we will be sure to stay there.

We spent 3 nights at this property. Lovely place with good service. Large and clean rooms. Really enjoy dinner. Breakfast could be little better. Great Lookout to relax and have a glass of wine. If come back to Victoria Falls, would stay at this hotel with no problem
