Do Step Inn Central - Self-Service-Hostel

Location: Many reviews highlight its great location, being close to train stations or metro lines, for example, a short walk from Wien HBF, trainstation, etc.

I found this place looking for a relatively cheap place to stay for a night in Vienna. After landing at the airport at 10:30pm, it took a 30 minute train to arrive at Wien HBF (they are usually quicker earlier in the day, about 15 mins). The hostel is only a 5-10 minute walk away from the station, across a well lit road and square, feeling very safe. The check in was easy, filling in the details online on the day of arrival, especially helpful with the late check in. You then get sent the codes to access the hostel, room and bed. The rooms were relatively large for a room for 4 people, and the beds were lockable, and could be closed when inside, feeling more save and private. There were plenty of bathrooms/toilets, which were also very clean. The bed was also very clean, however, you do have to make it yourself (which you don't need to in other hostels), which is slightly annoying when it is a late check in and you want to sleep, but understandable at the same time. There's nothing you need to do for checkout, just walk straight out of the door. Overall, if I needed a relatively cheap place to stay for a night/day in Vienna, this is perfect, the location is great and I could not fault it.
