We came to Vienna to experience the city and its Christmas markets. To be honest, ChatGPT recommended this hotel as a great, budget-friendly choice. We arrived on Wednesday night and immediately struggled: the room was unbearably hot, with the heating on full blast. (To be fair, we encountered this in several places across the city — restaurants, cafés, even some shops — but it was especially overwhelming in the room.) The room itself looked basic but clean. As we usually stay in Airbnbs, our initial impression wasn’t terrible. The problems started when we realised that, despite being called a hotel, they couldn’t provide basic items such as extra towels or pillows — and the pillows they did have were the worst I’ve ever used: flat, lumpy, and completely unsupportive. We were exhausted, so we went straight to bed, not realising that the sofa-bed (the third bed they charged us for) was completely unusable. It doesn’t lie flat and is as hard as stone. The main beds weren’t much better: small, uncomfortable, and you can feel the springs poking into your body. In all honesty, I have barely slept for four nights. The rooms are also quite noisy. Not constantly, but you can hear students partying until at least midnight. To add to it, the TV is tiny, and when the remote stopped working the receptionist told us they didn’t have any spare batteries. All in all, if you’re looking for a hostel-type experience and you’re a young student, this place might be fine. But as a family being charged nearly €800 for four nights, an Airbnb would have made far more sense.

We book one night stay in Wien in their Sissi hotel. We found the room with the blinds broken (the blinds were completly down and could not be pulled up) and when we went to the reception with hopes of finding a solution we were treated very badly underlining that the receptionist only works there and can not help with the problems of the hotel ?!?! Silly me i thought that helping customers with their problems was part of her job (the receptions working @ 8 pm on the 23rd of august 2025). Not to mention that one towel seamed used.

We stayed here for Eras Tour in Vienna, obviously it was cancelled, but we were already there when it happened. Ride from airport via Uber was maybe 40 minutes. Hostel is on the other side of the river; and not too much around it so we walked across the river and into the 'downtown' area daily for food or to socialize. Check-in staff was helpful; we got there early and no rooms cleaned and available yet, so we used their luggage storage room to store bags, freshen up and head out for the day. We had a private room; two beds with private bathroom. It really felt like a hotel with the privacy. Small closet to hang a few items (4-5) and a couple shelves to put items on. Otherwise we had one luggage on the desk, and the other on the floor. Room had a fan on the desktop we'd keep on in the windowsill area. Bathroom was adequate but small; no counter space for a curling iron. We typically got ready, one in the bathroom and the other in the entry way at the mirror. Plugs were hard to come by; had to charge phone at the entrance. We never used the resturant or public areas.

I can’t find enough words to express our disappointment and disgust to reflect our experience. We booked a group stay for 25 people minimum 3-4 months prior to our arrival. We were contacted by several people with several different and contrasting information, after which I sent a rough complaint email to which we received a response from the group sales dept saying that everything is arranged and confirmed! We arrived 9.00 am on the day and the receptionists had no idea what rooms were assigned to us. The receptionist tried his best to arrange the rooms last minute and we were told the checkin is at 3 pm. We arrived around 3.30-3.45 and the group (underaged children) finally received their rooms. Some of the rooms were drastically untidy, uncleaned, alcohol around, 18+ things, anti hygienic. 2 rooms were occupied by other people who were surprised when our kids opened the rooms. Absolute chaos, we had to rearrange the rooms with the evening shift receptionist. 1 room had mould over the bathroom rook. On the next day, at around 11 the cleaner opened the room and said it’s time to check out. She was talking to me while vaguely chewing a gum and blowing bubbles meanwhile. The worst experience ever! I have the feeling that this hotel has not got any administration and the employees have to make decisions on their own! Very disappointing!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The dinner provided was of such poor quality that none of us in our group could eat it. Additionally, the receptionist not only failed to offer any solution but also displayed completely unacceptable behavior, even going so far as to tell us multiple times to go back to our own country. I want to highlight the lack of respect and poor hospitality demonstrated by the staff. I strongly advise against anyone seeking even a modicum of courtesy and quality in the services offered to avoid this hotel.

Pay attention to this hotel if you come during the summer. IT HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING! They forgot to mention that they don't have air conditioning and it's 37 degrees outside. They gave us a fan and that's it. My mistake is that I didn't think about the fact that a 3-star hotel in the center of Vienna does not have air conditioning. If you want parking spaces at the Hotel, ask beforehand if they are available. I couldn't find any parking spaces and they sent me to park in a public parking lot 500 m away. Rooms with outdated furniture, broken shower cubicle with broken faucet. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL during the summer.

Very clean hotel in a good location . 5 minutes from U station , 15 from Stephansplatz and 25 minutes from Rathaus. People in reception are very friendly and helpful. Is on the other side of the river. The only problem is to find the correct exit to station
