Living Hotel an der Oper

My husband and I enjoyed our comfortable room for a week in December. We had a corner room with two large windows. It had a small refrigerator and a kettle, perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The elevator was a big plus. We opted for their breakfast and were not disappointed. The reception area is lovely, and has complimentary coffee and water. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. We especially enjoyed our breakfast server, Joy. The location was perfect to walk the city center, the Christmas markets, catch the Big Red Bus tour, and go to concerts. We had dinner at the Grnd restaurant across the street from the hotel, and others nearby. Again, we were not disappointed. We would definitely stay there again.

The apartment is well worth it. It’s nice to have a kitchenette so close to the Naschmarkt and the extra space was much appreciated.

Spacious rooms and lovely staff members. However, the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable--we were left with neck and shoulder pains from our stay, which lasted for a few days after leaving the hotel. We tried asking for extra pillows, but reception told us they did not have any extra pillows.

We are from Southern California and booked this hotel for 3 nights in mid December 2023. This was not what I expected! Pros: Great location. Close to public transportation and and lots of famous attractions. Staff are nice and friendly. They have nice decorations and great wall arts. We booked a suite and it was a decent size. Exactly like what we saw in the photos. They have a washer and a dryer on site that you can use for €4.50 per load. They have free coffee and water available in the lobby. You can store your luggage after you check out. Cons: This hotel is super old!!! Our room floor would shake every time we were walking!! Their elevator is tiny, we couldn't even fit our 2 luggages and the two of us in the elevator! There is no restaurant or room service. Water would leak from the shower and make everywhere wet. I told them about the issue, they tried to fix it. It got better, but it was still leaking. They advertise having "free mini bar", but there is no such a thing! Their definition of "free mini bar" is 2 free bottles of sparkling water and 2 free bottles of beer everyday. That's it! Completely different than the U.S. In conclusion, for this price, you can find better places. If you do end up booking at this hotel, lowere your expectation.

We stayed for 3 nights in December before the Christmas weekend. The location is super central. You can walk to all major attractions nearby. Even though we did not utilize the metro, the station is just outside the building. A grocery store is located across the street. My husband appreciated the free bottled water available 24 hours at the lobby.

Great place. Centrally located. Easy access to everywhere. I would highly recommend This place.

It was too old and around that area. If you pay a littl more, you can find many good hotels. it was much worse than I expected. But I have to admit that location was the best.
