Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean room with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast with a wide variety of food. Steps from the St Stephen’s Cathedral, other main attractions and the metro station. Can’t ask for more with this price.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in our recently vacation (October/2025).My wife is very picky . I have to say that she was very pleased with the beautiful hotel, the reception area has the Viennese charm and the bedroom had what we needed, a spotless bed to sleep. The bathroom was clean and roomy. The staff members were extremely friendly (Thank you guys!!!), helpful, and their English language skills were excellent. They were always ready to give us suggestions that really helped us to find great places to eat and shop. We really recommend this hotel if you want to be in the perfect location.

The Domizil Hotel has a friendly staff and clean, quiet rooms. It is an easy walk to Saint Stephens Cathedral. St. Stephen’s is crowded, but the lines move quickly. Nearby are other churches that rival the interior of St. Stephen’s. Our favorite cafe is Cafe Diglas, and it’s only two blocks away. Excellent dinners including three types of schnitzel, Austrian goulash and more. Their strudels were wonderful.

Peaceful retreat Perfect location, close to the action but being one block away made for a peaceful solution. I appreciate staying in authentic, non-chain places with windows that open. Front desk staff ladies were always so kind and welcoming. My favorite hotel of the three during my stay in Europe. Loved seeing the cathedral every morning. Didn’t realize the metro station was so close until 2 days in but that was great also. There were not a ton of photos their website so I was hoping the hotel would be ok and it was. I loved it, a hidden gem! Also only a 10 min walk from Wien Mitte train station which I took from Vienna airport.
