Le Seine is beautifully located facing the Mekong River, offering, in my view, the best riverfront scenery in Vientiane. The hotel is within walking distance of the night market and many of the city’s main attractions.
The rooms and overall property are very well curated, fully in line with a boutique hotel experience. Nice facilities, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and excellent showers. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive.
The rooftop bar is also a highlight, with live music and a fantastic view over the river.
The only negative note was regarding my advanced reservation for a higher-floor Deluxe River View room. As this was a special occasion, I had even called a couple of days prior to confirm availability and specifically requested a room on the 3rd or 4th floor. However, despite arriving at the earliest check-in time, I was informed that all rooms of that category on the higher floors had already been assigned and were no longer available.
