Reviews of Lanexang Princess Hotel

Since this was my first visit to Laos, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this hotel fell far below basic standards. Upon entering the room, I found lines of ants on the desk and even a few on the bed, which was distressing. The linens were in terrible condition—the pillowcase was torn and had been crudely tied together to cover the hole. The service was even worse. The male receptionist initially gave me a room on the top floor that was unbearably hot because the AC couldn't compete with the building's heat. When I asked for a room on a lower floor, he flatly lied and said they were full. After I insisted he check the AC himself, he suddenly "found" a room downstairs, but he was visibly angry and slammed the key onto the counter. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, but I have never been treated with such disrespect. Do not be fooled by the good reviews like I was.

The TV system could not receive Thai television channels e.g. Channel One-31 and Amarin TV. Bed head lamp bulps did not work. Poor wifi signals. The rinsing hose was broken. The night shift front desk staff, two men were not helpful and did not pay attention to guests.

The hotel has a very good location, a lot of places to eat nearby. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell and the aircon was really noisy. The front desk staff was hard to find and the last night we were there, apparently there was a party by the pool, with music and people talking loudly until late; it seemed like a lawless town.

This hotel is located near the Morning Market, Vientiane Bus Station, and Pak Son Department Store, as well as major Vientiane tourist attractions such as Patuxai Arch, Wat Preah Keo, and Wat Sisaket. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were of average cleanliness. During my stay, I encountered problems with the air conditioning not being very cool and noise from the adjacent room.

Large executive room and quite quiet. Bath was enjoyable with water temperatures actually getting quite hot. First I’ve found in a hotel in Laos for a bath. Area outside window needs cleaning but was an enjoyable experience, breakfast was included but I did not attend.

The location is fantastic, right by the morning market, which also has food available at night. It's very convenient for getting around, and Patuxay is just a short distance away.

Very clean and good kind people staff

Very clean hotel with spacious room. Basic amenities. Located just next to Talat Sao and few minutes walk.dfom central bus station. Rather convenient but night time can be really quiet in the area.

Clean hotel, good location in the center of Vientiane, in front of a mall, room big enough with a desk and private bathroom. The women’s from the reception were friendly. Very convenient. Good value for price.
