Vientiane Plaza Hotel

The hotel was old n dirty. Water in shower booth was not draining.. Location was also so so, had to walk 15min to city center. Add to this cost 5dollars n u would get a better alternative in city center..

Vientiane Plaza Hotel Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. The staff were excellent and very helpful. My girlfriend accidentally booked the wrong month (it was her first time booking), but the team handled the situation professionally. There was one short female staff member in particular who was very friendly and supportive we really appreciated her help. Cleanliness and service were both excellent. The location is also very convenient, with a large shopping mall within walking distance and a popular night street food area about 15 minutes away. You can also use the Koko app (around 20,000 kip) instead of the hotel taxi — it’s very convenient in Laos. Breakfast had many options, but the food preparation could be improved. It would be great to see more vegetarian choices, such as rice, vegetable soup, or Indian-style vegetable dishes that pair well with rice. The hotel is still undergoing upgrades, and some areas on the 5th floor were quite dark and felt a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully this will improve once renovations are complete. Also there is a coffee shop downstairs and as well a club with very good music and a lively mix of people a nice place to socialize and make friends. Overall: A good hotel with great staff and good value. With some improvements to breakfast quality and ongoing renovations completed, it would be even better.

Hotel under renovation, so affected by some noise & closure of of some facilities, tennis court not available. Breakfast quite good spread, quite tasty, especially the pho.

I initially chose this hotel because it had a gym and a sauna, but upon arrival, I learned that these facilities were no longer available. If the gym and sauna can no longer be used, why isn't this stated on various platforms? A variety of delicious dishes were offered at breakfast.

location close to the bus station if you want to take a bus to border point to cross border to Thailand

The fridge did not work. I reported it four times but no one listed. Very very average. I would not recommend

Clealiness at hotel need to be improved as we found a dried bubble gum stick inside the slippers. We have requested for more pillow twice times and they said they will ask staff to bring for us at the room but no one show off. On the last night of our stay, the room is really hot due to an issue from air con so, we inform them in the morning but nothing happen even a word of apologize.
