Vinha da Areia Beach Hotel

I don't recommend it; even in the off-season, the price of accommodation is outrageous.

The hotel itself is okay for the price, but... The reception is more than hidden, and parking is very limited. The staff is completely overwhelmed and only responds after repeated requests. I'm used to much better service. And now I come to breakfast. I've never seen anything like it. What they call coffee is just a weak brew of water with a few beans thrown through it. The food, like everything else, is absolutely terrible. One cheese, one ham, and only one type of jam. I won't even mention the tiny rolls. Just a shake of the head. Oh yeah, yogurt—sometimes they have it, and the next day it's gone. The coffee machine hasn't worked for years.

Room 118 and its neighbors overlook the entrance to a parking lot. You can hear very (too) clearly what's happening outside and in the adjacent rooms (snoring, phone calls). No complimentary kettle, no safe, the sliding door seal is warped, no elevator, no bar, not a single hook in the bathroom for a towel... The breakfast is mediocre and sparse. The pool pumps either don't work or barely do, judging by the debris at the bottom. A 3-star hotel?! By what miracle?

We hadden een dubbel kamer met een mooi en ruim terras dat uitgaf of de haven en schuins op strand. Niet al te vriendelijk aan de receptie maar check-in relatief vlot. Relatief ruime kamer met goed bed en goed werkende airco. Badkamer met bad, lavabo, wc en bidet. Strikte minimum aan voorzieningen inde badkamer. Geen water op de kamer. Er was een mogelijk voor maken van warm water (thee) maar geen koppen een ook geen thee en of koffie. Tassen dan bekomen aan de receptie. Ruime ontbijtzaal met mooi uitzicht. Goed ontbijt (op de koffie na) met voldoende variatie (ook met vers fruit). Heel lekker eiergerecht. Klein zwembad met de nodige ligstoelen aan de ingang van het hotel. Hotel op wandel afstand van restaurants en centrum. Toch een aangenaam verblijf gehad (terras en ontbijt).

Bom hotel com boas características para o preço praticado. Vista mar e Marina Estacionamento dentro da propriedade. Funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Penso que poderiam renovar o espaço de forma a torná-lo mais moderno e confortável. Excelente localização.

Unser letztes Hotel auf den Azoren war leider nicht das Beste. Wir hatten ein Zimmer weit oben das war soweit ganz okay. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht und das Personal im Frühstücksraum war total unfreundlich. Jeden Morgen musste ich nach einem Naturjoghurt fragen. Der Raum war fürchterlich gelegen, total heiß und stickig. Die Mitreisenden hatten Erdgeschoss Zimmer, die eine Katastrophe waren. Die ebenerdigen Zimmer waren alle durch den Garten verbunden, und es fehlte Sicherheit und Privatsphäre. Positiv war die Lage und die EmpfangsKräfte die waren immer total nett und auskunftsbereit
