Fantastic stay, the room was spacious and bed comfy. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Excellent value for money.

Just managed to book this for 1 day for my birthday weekendfor myself and my daughter and wished I had booked it for the entire duration of my 6 day stay in Portugal. Clean, peaceful, pool was crystal clear, staff were friendly. d I somehow managed to get it for a very competitive price, not the usual rate. Spacious apartment with very large bathroom and shower, small kitchen and good sofa, along with a TV in the lounge and the bedroom. Nice coffee in the cafe and the staff were all lovely. Great book exchange too!

The room was nice, large, and had all the amenities I needed.

Very clean hotel, location Ok. Breakfast poor, no vegetables. Sausages watery and other cold cuts one-sided. Room very clean, cleaning daily. Transportation to the beach and port good.

Just returned from seven nights in this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Celio in the Snack Bar, apart from the gentleman wearing the pink shirt and glasses who appeared to run the restaurant and bar in the evenings, he was quite rude. Hotel was very clean, apartments were very spacious and clean but the three flights of steep stairs down to the apartment (no lifts) in a basement are definitely not suitable for young children or adults with any form of mobility problems. There were lots of steps and stairs in the apartment too. Food and service in the Snack Bar was excellent. Unfortunately on the Friday night the Snack Bar was closed which we hadn't been notified of. We went to the hotel restaurant which had a buffet. However the food was absolutely appalling. The soup, vegetable, was tepid and tasteless, salmon cutlets were cold, chicken fillets were so thin they were like rashers of bacon, boiled potatoes, cold, left sitting in water so they were soggy and the other vegetables were so bad I have no words to describe them. I have travelled extensively over the years in the USA, Europe and on various cruises and I can honestly say I have never tasted anything so disgusting. Overall our experience was good but due to the stairs and the appalling buffet neither myself nor my companions would ever return to this hotel. I would like to add that Natalia, the girl who cleaned our apartment (405) was absolutely brilliant.

We arrived to discover that there were two single beds pushed up together to make a double. This would usually be okay, however there was two separate sheets and blankets therefore everytime you rolled into the middle the beds would come apart. It was basically like sleeping in different beds. We also noticed mould was starting to develop on the corner of the ceiling by the bed. There isn’t much to do in the area or in the hotel however the bolts are cheap to use to get down to Vilamoura or Albuferia . They have a ‘games room’ which consists of 3 little arcade machines and a pool table. However, staff are lovely.

Stayed for a week and the room was large and cleaned daily, hotel was also very clean throughout, super friendly helpful staff, bus down to the marina several times a day. Very basic breakfast but it did the trick, value for money and a nice location. Spar shop 5 minute walk and the Sports Spa and Bar at the back of the hotel, down some steps and across the road was ideal. Bolt taxi to the marina was €3.65 with plenty open in February.

Went here for 10days with my daughter and 2 teenage grandchildren. The 1 bedroom apartments are downstairs in a dark dingy basement and was riddled with cockroaches. Management didn’t help much apart from come down with a cockroach spray. Room was rundown and balcony was awful. There is nothing nearby except for a small supermarket and a really overpriced Indian restaurant. The Marina is fiercely expensive and full of Irish bars. Would not recommend.

We stayed for five nights in a standard apartment. There was a separate bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchenette/lounge area. The bathroom came with a walk in shower, bidet, double sink, hairdryer, body wash and hand soap. The lounge area had a tv, aircon, wardrobe, and sofa bed. The bedroom had two twin beds pushed together, tv, aircon, wardrobe, sliding doors to the balcony (with two outdoor seats and a table). The kitchenette had a microwave with a grill function, a hob (we didn't use these), kettle, toaster, fridge, various kitchen utensils. Washing up liquid/sponges were not provided. I found the apartment overall to be very comfortable and relaxing to be in. The housekeeping was very good, the staff came in discreetly when we were out to make up the beds and freshen towels. We spent a few hours relaxing by the poolside in the sun, a treat for Brits in November. We didn't bother with the breakfast on site, instead choosing to have toast in the apartment or getting breakfast out at the marina. We did have a portion of chips on the first night as we'd arrived late after the Spar had closed and neither of us wanted a heavy meal after a day's travel. The hotel food menu is quite limited for any dietary requirements. The hotel is located in a quiet area north of the marina. Bolt/ubers are in good supply. There's also a shuttlebus that goes to and from the marina twice a day, although we didn't end up using this. Buses do exist in the Algarve, but they aren't regular and there's no information at any of the bus stops, so you'd be reliant on the terrible Vamus app. The ride apps work out reasonably if there's two or more of you. However, if you are keen walkers, the marina is a pleasant and safe walk on a major cycle route, which includes outdoor gym equipment. I'd recommend a trip into Quarteria as well as Vilamoura marina, there's some great restaurants there. Closest to the hotel is the Spar and United Kitchens of India. Spar has most essentials, although the Intermarche closer to the marina is better. United Kitchens of India is a top rate Indian restaurant which I'd highly recommend, it caters well for various dietary requirements.
