My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Tivoli Marina, Vilamoura from 15/5-22/5/23. We were also here in 2014. We would definitely come back as well ! No problems with flights nor transfers. Jet2 staff on arrival in the airport are very good at guiding you to the correct transfer coach. Checking in - we were given a room in the hotel that when we opened the door, we could tell already had guests! ( Shoes/items in the room). We went downstairs immediately to report the error.Thankfully, Hugo in reception got us a room within an hour. We had booked a sea view. There was not enough room in the fridge for our own items, but we managed.( I have to keep some medications in the fridge). Hotel is very nice. Breakfast is great with a wide choice. We also ate in Oregano; Peppers; Glee; D'Azur poolside and Argo cocktail bar - all excellent. We did not tell the hotel staff it was my birthday during the stay, but they must have noted it from the ID documents etc. I enjoyed a complimentary surprise cake and Prosecco with my wife. The staff in the spa are lovely. My wife and I booked the sauna; indoor pool and the jacuzzi for 45 minutes. It is complimentary for a resident guest. All in all a very relaxing place to stay. The first hotel has a rich Western breakfast, the second is suitable for parent-child travel a bit like Yalong Bay, the third hotel offers free parking, and the fourth hotel requires children under 12 years old to enjoy extra bed and breakfast for free. Each hotel in Europe is different. Please read the hotel rules carefully when booking. The hotel should belong to the first-line sea view, 2 minutes walk from the hotel's outdoor pool to the beach, 2 minutes walk to the casino, 10 minutes walk to the yacht club, of course, the yacht club can't drive in, only walk. Those who need to go out to sea can also book here, and a variety of rides are available. The yacht club is surrounded by restaurants and shops, a bit like Beijing’s Houhai, and very lively at night. The British have come here for a lot of vacations, so all English exchanges are no problem. Finally, there is a little twist, that is, at check-in, the hotel checks my order, does not show the child, only 2 adults. At the beginning, we need to pay a trampoline fee of 100 Euros. After communicating and checking the documents, there is no charge, and I directly change my order to 2 adults and 1 child. Every time I book a hotel, I will fill in the ages of adults and children. I have never encountered similar problems before, and there may be differences in each hotel management. However, I still hope that Ctrip can improve the order. Having said that, I hope I can help you.

Such a pleasant place to stay March 2024 Arrived midnight in Sunday 24th March, check in very simple and easy, room was very clean, staff very polite, went down for brekkie at 08.30 and could not fault the breakfast something for everyone, now time to get shuttle bus to Dom Pedro Pinhal golf course and again very easy, asked at desk and within 10 minutes the mini bus was here to take us to golf course, everything was repeated over the 4 days and 1000% easy for everything and nothing was a trouble for staff If i had one negative feedback this would be there is no tea / coffee making facilities in the room, should this be available in the rooms then 10/10 but without this 9/10

Free parking behind the hotel, enter the car park next to the McDonald's drive through. Limited spaces. Parking on the pavement will get you a €30 fine. Walking distance to the marina, beach and plenty of restraunts, pubs and some supermarkets. Kitchen in the apartment is an induction cooker, microwave and a kettle. Some cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Buffet breakfast is some cold cuts, cheese, sliced oranges, melons and kiwi fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled, sunny Side up and boiled eggs. Baked beans, saugages, bacon mushrooms and roasted tomato with cheese. Portugese egg tarts, raisin danishes, chocolate rolls, apple turnovers. White bread, wholemeal bread, croissants and some rolls with butter and some jams available. 3 Small lifts they can fit 2 persons with suitcases. Lighting mostly adequate in the rooms amd living area except for the bathroom which was too dark. Nice balcony area. In the evenings, it was cooler to open the doors than rely on the air conditioner.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Fantastic location, lovely staff and had everything you need for a great stay. Around 1 min walk to the marina where there are plenty of bars/restaurants and a 25 min drive from the airport. We had breakfast included which was also nice and the staff couldn’t do enough. Wouldn’t think twice about returning if we ever came back the area.

The staff at Dom Pedro, Vilamoura are truly amazing people who take great pride in making your experience enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect. Near the beach but not on top of it, a short stroll to the marina with its many restaurants and bars, and just across the road from a Spar supermarket. The rooms are spacious, the beds soooooo comfortable and the bathrooms include shampoo and a few toiletries. The pool area is well protected from the sea breeze by a hedge and the massive lawns and gardens are well kept. There is an abundance of sun beds which can be used around the pool or moved into shaded areas if preferred. At breakfast there is something for everyone and individual needs such as non-dairy milk are catered for on request, nothing is too much trouble. Well done Dom Pedro you are a great example to the hospitality industry.

Been here a few times just love the hotel and location. A big shout out for the cleaners on the 5th floor, room always looked lovely and clean. Friendly staff at the reception and the bar staff lovely. Nice snack bar and pizza restaurant at the hotel. Change of staff from when we were there in march in the breakfast room unfriendly apart from a couple of them, surely a bom dias would be nice we were there 10 days. Bring back the white shirts black makes them look more miserable. Breakfast good lots of choice. I'm sure we will back again.

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at this beautiful resort! From the moment we were welcomed on arrival by the very professional and efficient Joanna and her amazing team, we felt like VIP’s. Tomas greeted us with freshly squeezed orange juice and a Portuguese pastry a very welcome treat. Things just got better when we were shown to our suite(229) it was beautiful and had an amazing view over the sand pool and lake! Our package included Haute Living and this really was a highlight of our stay, we could avail of light snacks at lunch and refreshments throughout the day. We also enjoyed a pre- dinner drink in the beautiful candle lit surroundings. Nadia, Alex, Bruno and the entire team made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble, we enjoyed chatting with them and gaining local information. Housekeeping was exceptional, fresh bed linen everyday, towels twice daily, a turn down service with chocolates and bottled water! Breakfast was excellent as were the restaurant staff, again nothing too much trouble. We were celebrating a birthday and special anniversary and were delighted on returning to our suite to find a cake and bubbles which we enjoyed on our balcony, such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated! The resort grounds are beautiful and superbly maintained. After a beach walk we enjoyed a refreshing drink in Sora, the hotels beach restaurant, the view is beautiful, staff friendly and well worth a visit! The entire team at Domes Lake Resort are amazing, their friendliness and professionalism are a credit to the company, they helped to make a much needed vacation extra special! We are so looking forward to a return visit next year.
