This place is an absolute gem, we were looking for a place to stay over night before getting the ferry, steeped in history very interesting ,the grounds are amazing with the biggest agapanthus iv ever seen The grounds are beautiful with a lage fishing lake,a very relaxing stay, room was very clean ,we both had a good sleep Maria is a lovely lady and wanting to tell you all about this beautiful place, Not to forget the restaurant, excellent food, freshly made bread, was delicious ,for the evening meal I had the Tuna with fries ,it was the largest piece of tuna I have eaten It will help if you can speak spainish

Nuestra estancia en Casona Dos Lagos ha sido inmejorable. Fui con mi pareja y desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa. El lugar es precioso, rodeado de naturaleza y con una tranquilidad que invita a desconectar, pero a la vez está muy bien situado: en poco tiempo puedes estar en Santander, visitar el Parque de Cabárceno, disfrutar de la costa o recorrer pueblos con encanto de Cantabria. Los desayunos son espectaculares, con productos típicos como los sobaos pasiegos, y para cenar no puede faltar su cachopo, buenísimo y abundante. Todo cuidado al detalle. Mención especial para los anfitriones: Luis, Lourdes y Carlota, que son encantadores, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar con recomendaciones para aprovechar al máximo la zona. Se nota el cariño con el que gestionan la casona. Un lugar perfecto para una escapada en pareja o con niños. Muy buena ubicación, buena comida y un ambiente familiar y acogedor. Sin duda, un sitio para repetir y recomendar.

Un lugar para volver lleno de encanto, preciosos paisajes, un entorno único y una casona del siglo XI única. 100% recomendable. Las habitaciones y camas muy acogedoras. Desayunamos de forma exquisita y Luis no puede ser mejor anfitrión junto a su hermana. Si pasáis por Villanueva de Villaescusa no dudéis en alojaros allí.

Hemos pasado 4 noches , una familia de 4 adultos una niña y un perro ,en el apartamento y la experiencia no ha podido ser mejor. Un lugar idílico en plena naturaleza para desconectar de todo.El trato de Luis fantástico, nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Además dispone de un restaurante donde los desayunos y comidas son punto y aparte. Agustín y Nuria son un amor y sus platos muy ricos y abundantes. Te vas con ganas de regresar pronto. Desde luego muy recomendable. Gracias por todo

Entorno espectacular muy cerquita de Santander. Es una antigua fortaleza, con preciosos jardines. El desayuno no está incluido, pero se pueda disfrutar muy cerquita y a muy buen precio. Las habitaciones son tranquilas, limpias y comfortables.

Reservamos dos noches por su cercanía a Cabárcenos y nos encontramos con un entorno mágico. Edificio con historia, instalaciones limpias y jardines muy cuidados. Muy recomendable su estancia. A titulo personal, lo mas satisfactorio fue conocer a María, persona de gran personalidad y conocimientos. Coincidimos en la triada dialéctica.
