We had heard a lot about K resort, so for my father's special birthday celebration, we had booked two rooms and stayed overnight. Pro: 1) The room is big, spacious and clean. 2)The bathroom is big and the shower pressure is amazing. 3) The A La Carte menu: The Indo-Chinese and the Indian cuisine very tasty. Now all the negatives: 1) Due to the location, lots of lizards and frogs enter the room. Terrified me badly. Whole night I slept with all of my lights on as I could hear the lizards making the noise. Still getting shudders thinking about it. They need to fix this problem. 2) My parents' room AC was not working well. We had to keep calling them to fix it. 3) I agree the food was delicious, but the service in the restaurant was super slow. We were the only family living and dining. Still it was not well organised in the order the food came. They gave us the gravy and made us wait for the chapathi nearly for 30mins! 4) The restaurant ***ager was super rude. Out of the 4 people, two people ate their breakfast in the restaurant, for the other two, we decided to pack as due to medical reasons, they needed to fast before eating. He questioned us why we packed so ***y dishes (according to him), and doubted us as if we wanted to free load some food. Ridiculous behaviour. I pointed out, two people who ate the breakfast, ate three times the amount we packed for the other two. 5) Generally the whole service is slow, from room service, fixing the AC, catching the extra lizards and frogs in the room, food serving: in short they made us wait for a long time. 6) The pool was dirty. They did not bother to clean as the resort was empty apart from our family. 7) The buffet breakfast was average. As we were the only guests, it was very basic. In short the hotel and staff did not give their best or even bothered as we were the only guests. My mom and brother did not stay the night and left after dinner, as they were not happy at all. I am glad we booked only for 1 night. Never coming again. It was a terrible experience for my family.
