We were pleasantly surprised, our room was clean and a great view overlooking the pier and water. Was actually kind of quiet for New Years Eve. Nice to have a parking garage.

Honestly, this is the absolute worst motel/hotel I have ever seen. The online description doesn't match the reality. Stay away at all costs. Not worth it - even though the location is good. I am surprised this place is allowed to stay open.

The staff was great. Rooms were older and in need of some minor cosmetic touches but was clean and neat.

Our experience was very pleasant! Great views and professional people! We loved the big room, the balcony and the quick service!My family and I enjoyed 3 nights here and we are looking forward to come back ,thank u guys!!!

The rooms I am reporting are 102 and 603. Check in was July 7th, 2022, and departure was a few hours later. Room 102 is baldly infested with cockroaches. The infestation was discovered when the mini fridge in the kitchenette would not turn on. I pulled it out and there were roaches everywhere. I checked the cabinets in the kitchenette they were loaded with cockroaches. The sofa bed was also infested. I then checked the double beds, and the sheets were dirty and stained with something brown. The ground level balcony was littered with trash and broken beer bottles. I advised the front desk, the male clerk who had no name tag on tried to offer me room 603. Room 603 was also baldly infested behind the mini fridge and cabinets. The cabinets also appeared to contain black mold. I returned to the lobby to speak with the same attendant. I advised the same situation was occurring in 603 and we had to leave because my son and myself are allergic to cockroach dropping (diagnosed in allergy testing) and I advised I did not want my three-year-old, six-year-old, fifteen- year- old or seventy-two-year-old mother who had a knee replacement a few months ago exposed to these germs. Also, I advised I could not risk infesting my home when I returned home. I asked for his name, the managers name, the owners name and email addresses or a contact address I could mail a letter to. The clerk refused to give any information for the management or owner.

The woman manning the front (I believe she's the owner) was extremely rude. She immediately yelled at me. There was no reason for her to do this and I didn't appreciate it. Not only that, but the room reserved was filthy, the door to the balcony didn't work, and there were bugs. Save your money and a ton of aggravation and go somewhere else.

Beware these rooms have bed bugs. My family of three just recently stayed here on the 5th floor to be exact and she was bit all over her body by bed bugs. She slept on the couch she never pull it out all they way out. Never removed the sofa padding. When we checked out we told the receptionist at the front desk she didn’t give us no reaction no response we just wanted to get out. What’s funny is that I booked through booking dot com and it won’t let me post a review says that I never made a booking with them but I have it confirmed in my booking tabs. Any ways I’m guess from her reaction it wasn’t the first time she heard that from one of the guests

ROACH HELL !! Holes in the walls ! Urination smell in elevator!!! Be aware !!! Do not stay here ! We got to the hotel after a long 10 hour drive and was greeted with roaches in the tub , roaches in the living room area coMing out of the holes where the tv once was . The tv propped up on the ragged dresser ! It was really a horror scene !! They had the nerve to keep our fullMONEY after complaining 5 minute after check in !!! Be aware alone for the amount of roaches - THE WOMAN AT THE FRONT DESK WITH THE HUGE GUN ON HER WAIST GREETING ME SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY SIGN ALONE - she told us before We left our 2 Rooms was canceled out and no charges was made on the other room ! They said this to Me and my husband together . The big lie ! Manager is incompetent and a big scam

In VB for a family wedding, stayed 11/12/22 after a terrible road trip where we had to stop for the night in Charlston VA, then finish the drive on the 12th.We didnt have time to check in before the wedding and did so about 8:00 that evening. Pulled into the TINY debris strewn garage , old furniture scattered around the garage, then they couldnt find our reservation,made in Oct.. That, finally resolved in their office of flickering flourescent lights, we went up to our room in a rickety elevator to find a FILTHY room that actually stunk. The bedroom had two doubles stuffed into a tiny room. OK, fine. But the whole place smelled soooo bad we left the balcony sliding door open all night, IN NOVEMBER!. The sink in what was supposed to be a kitchenette had no hot water tap. The 2 cup coffee maker I was afraid to use-no dish soap to make sure it was clean. The couch in the ?den? was broken down one end sagging. The TV in the den wouldnt turn on. The ancient style heat /AC unit would not turn on. I complained and they offered us one of two other rooms that they allowed me to see. Both were just as disgusting as the one we were in. There was even an old mirror like you would find in a thrift shop to look at your outfit that was cloudy with soap or cleaner that was never wiped off. I've never seen anything like this place. It was like on old dilapidated flop house hotel where you'd likely find ******* in the very dimly lit hallways. None of this description is hyperbole- this is an exactly accurate description. DONT look for a bargain hotel room in the VB area - THIS is what you'll get
