Sundial Inn

I booked a room for my unhorsed relative for one night because it was the cheapest available room for the night and the situation was urgent. When I asked on a call if there was anything else I should know before she got there for check in, I was assured it would all go smoothly. My relative got there and the staff was rude because she had her belongings in a trash bag. I didn’t tell them she was homeless on the call because I didn’t think it was necessary for the CHEAPEST room available to mention such a thing. And they didn’t think it was necessary to tell me she had to have a credit card or $100 cash deposit to stay there. Almost twice what the room would cost. Still haven’t been refunded by the way… So then I had to pay for a second Uber ride to pick her up from that hotel and book her at an even more expensive one that was much kinder and made it easy for me to pay for the room and her just rest. I won’t be using sundial because they clearly lack compassion

Staff was helpful and efficient. The room was clean if outdated. The bed was comfy and the shower water pressure was great. If you are looking for something reasonably priced, this place is satisfactory.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. Also everywhere was very convenient to get to.

Just a quick overnight stay. Very comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. For the price, it was fine and I would stay there again. Don’t expect much though, just a clean bed and bathroom.

What we didn’t. Like was we didn’t have any pots or pans to cook. We rented a room with a kitchenette. Could not used the kitchen. Not good.

Located on the main ***** leading to the ocean front, and just one block from the beach, this family owned motel is a must do for budget shoppers. While not perfect, this family knows the importance of putting money back into the business. All of them are hard workers, and friendly, and sees to it that you have what you need to be comfortable. The beds are comfortable with 4 pillows each. The bathrooms are freshly renovated. As pictured, the kitchen is dated but very usable and useful. NOTHING is provided in the kitchen, so bring whatever you need to cook and eat with. This establishment is in the heart of VB. It's value is hard to beat. Park your car, and relax. Enjoy your stay at Sundial, in VB.

It was horrible there was so much fungus and mold in the coffee pot the shower was filthy and they continued to knock even with the do not disturb on the door

It was an older hotel. But the room was clean. There was a lot of car noises and music playing from local bars. But it did not bother us.
