Very good hotel, would stay again. On seafront, close to bars and resturants, room was spacious and clean, pools were a bit noisy with kids, could do with adult only pool, service at pool bar in the evening was very good with only 1 waitress but strangely slow during the day with more people serving. Breakfast was very good, good selection, the only thing we didn't like were the cats in the dinning area with one of the staff feeding them, but if you like cats I would recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous hotel in a lovely location - location is quite with a huge beach and plenty of traditional tavernas - hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff work exceptionally hard to maintain this - breakfast was busy but totally fine - sun beds: but annoying but always fine. However.. on the last two days a wedding party arrived and invited all their friends from other hotels who took a load of sun beds and the mess they left behind was absolutely disgusting. This isn’t the hotels fault but they didn’t check who any of these people were. The lovely, relaxing l, quiet hotel quickly became a very rowdy place. We were glad to leave when we did. - I’d recommend hiring a car - food is lovely Bit pricey but the whole island is so it’s to be expected.

This hotel's absolutely fantastic! Great location, beautiful modern rooms, lovely pools, and a great private beach. The resort is very quiet, clean and has a safe, relaxed vibe throughout. There's great WiFi everywhere except the beach. Absolutely all of the staff are incredibly hardworking and friendly. The pool bar serves excellent food - beautifully presented and generous portions. Stella deserves a special shout out for being super friendly and helpful. The bar is a little pricey, but worth it. I stayed with my 17 year old daughter in a family room, room 105. It was ground floor, so a little bit dark inside, and with no view, which was a shame. But it was right next to a pool and had a large pretty terrace, which felt private. The air conditioning was fantastic throughout. This room type would be ideal for a family with small children. You enter into the living room, where the child(ren) sleep(s), an ensuite toilet and sink. Then there's a door to the main, large bedroom, which has lots of storage space. The main bathroom is off this bedroom; it's a large wetroom with wonderfully powerful shower. Both rooms have a TV with mostly European channels. There's a fridge in the room and a minimarket 2 mins away. We stayed half board. Breakfast was great, although very busy, so not especially relaxing! Dinner was your standard buffet. It's probably better to stay B&B or room-only, as there are lots of nice tavernas adjacent to the beach. We went on the Island bus tour, Majestic Spots of Santorini from Kamari Travel (bought from our Jet2 rep, but cheaper on TripAdvisor!) which I don't recommend in peak summer season (!), see my separate review. I only have only a few suggestions for ways this hotel could improve: - Reserve one of the pools as a quiet pool - Add more seating at the pool bar when there is live music on; we couldn't find a seat on these evenings - Introduce do not disturb signs for the rooms - Remove towels from poolside sunbeds. They *say* they do this at set times, but I don't think they do. Some days we couldn't get a sunbed, but the beach always had some available. - Guarantee guests flying home late in the day the option of keeping the room for an extra day. I was happy to pay the extra 60 Euros, but there wasn't one available for us. (The showers in reception were out of order that day, and the one in the gym didn't have a lock on the door!) Overall, highly recommended! 😎

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. The hotel is stunning, beautiful views from our balcony right on sea front. The food was amazing and not too pricey. The service was spectacular the night staff Maria and Pamioun were amazing so friendly and just a great experience. Would highly recommend this hotel.

No sauna at the hotel despite the fact they advertise it. The gym is a room without windows and just will not make you want to work out. No spa at the hotel. No hot jacuzzi. The food and the dining area at the hotel is horrible. The buffet area is so small you can't move without bumping into others. The coffee machine is using coffee powder and milk powder no other option available. The eggs swim in oil. No pancakes or waffles or anything spacial. No omlet bar no good Greek yogurt even the feta cheese was not tasty. Breakfast is open from 8 till 10 so everyone come at the same time and some people have to wait for a table. Some people come early before the opening to get a table. We thougt to order dinner for 30 euros a person drinks NOT included but once we saw the quality, drink prices, and variety we made the best decision to go next door to Tera-Nera for an amazing food and it was much cheaper. The 2 stars are for the hard working dedicated employees they are just amazing friendly people working 7 days a week to make the guests feel comfortable and at ease. The picture is of a quartered doughnut they gave one day.

Recently stayed at the Santo Miramare Resort for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. Santa Miramare has a quiet charm about it; it has multiple pools, wonderful areas to sit and sun-beds on the beach but what makes your stay so wonderful is the staff. The front desk is helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They are always ready to answer any questions and help you organize any thing you might want to do. The property is incredibly clean and well managed. The Resort is on the beach and its location on the island of Thira was perfect for us. We did take several trips to Fira and Ola which the resort helped us organize but the beach was the important thing for us. Just outside of the property there are about 30 restaurants within easy walking distance that vary from casual to very elegant, the food was amazing and I can honestly say we didn’t have a bad meal. Waking up in the morning and scrolling along the beach road offers a wonderful opportunity to see this area and get to know its rhythms and people. Can’t recommend enough.

Just back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated with a small balcony looking out over the road. Breakfast was very good - but the breakfast area was small and over-crowded. Loads of space round the tables however and we always found a table. A great selection was provided - English, Greek, etc. Highly recomended.

Santorini has always been on my bucket list and having reading the reviews for santo mirimare we booked it. We stayed for 1 week bed and breakfast 2nd September 2023. Breakfast - good choices of food, I can see why the reviews may moan about space as the restaurant itself is on the small side but it wasn't as busy as in peak times so we didn't mind. Staff - the staff make this hotel! Every single staff member werte helpful, polite and went above and beyond for anything you needed. This hotel should definitely be 5 stars! Big shout out to Christina who takes care of you at the beach and makes sure it's always kept nice and clean. I loved the fact she was always feeding the cats with water and biscuits too. It shows what a lovely lady she is. Stella and Demetrius at the pool bar made our holiday. Constantly smiling and very outgoing and always made us feel like we have known them for years! After getting chatting we learnt they were coming to England in December so on the last day we gave them a good tip to put towards this as we just thought they were such amazing people and again could not do enough for you. We met a couple at the hotel who advised they had been going to the hotel twice a year for years!!! They recommend a restaurant called taste of the beach which was 2 doors down on the right of the hotel on the beach front. We ate there 5 times out of 7 we stayed! Stefan the owner is very approachable and lovely, his wife does the cooking and the portions were huge but also so fresh and tasty! Elias was the waiter who we always became friendly with, who again was lovely. The beds in the hotel were the comfiest beds I have ever slept in being away from home, the shower was so powerful and the room was just immaculate. The cleaners give fresh towels each day and always cleaned this every day. The beach is right in front of the hotel and the sea is amazing. The pools are clean but not heated but it was nice to get in to cool down. Trips - We went to the volcano trip booked through reception. We went to oia, booked a taxi at 7am again through reception the sun was just coming up and it was very quiet which was brilliant as we got some amazing photos and ate breakfast overlooking the sea. When we were leaving at 9.30am it was absolutely rammed and you could not move. So I would definitely go early!!! We've already said we want to go back already it was the best. Thank you santo mirimare.
