Intourist Hotel was built in 1957 and is an architectural asset of 20th century. It is conveniently located in the heart of Volgograd, close to other architectural sights, administrative, cultural and historical landmarks, the park area and major transport routs. The hotel building with its classical look is a delight for the eye. Accommodation is provided in 100 single- and two-room high-ceilinged guestrooms of various categories - Economy, Standard, Suite and Apartment. The rooms offer modern bathrooms, wide windows or balconies overlooking the central square or the Heroes Alley. The exact fitment depends on the room's category and includes - climate control and air conditioning system, telephone, fully equipped kitchen (Apartment), personal vault with digital lock, fridge, satellite TV, DVD. The bathrooms are equipped with shower cubicles or bathtubs (with hydromassage in Suites), and are complete with hair-dryer, terry robes, toiletry accessories. The ground floor of the building accommodates the Intourist Restaurant, divided into two halls with a total capacity of 120 persons. The menu offers courses of Russian and European cuisine. The venue is well-suited for holding business dinners and corporate events. Hotel has two conference halls with 30 and 100 persons capacity, where business people can hold successful events. The halls come equipped with TV, VHS and DVD players, flipchart with markers and spare paper, screen, telephone communication, Wi-Fi Internet and air conditioning. Coffee breaks are served at the floor hall, and standing buffet - at the restaurant hall.
