The hotel is alright, clean and suitable for a rest. This is my first time here, but I feel very good.

It's reasonably clean and new, basic, located near back-beach, mostly domenstic tourists, plenty of seafood restaurants, pillows and mattress not that great for me, receptionists are helpful though, just a place for sleepover for a night or two. For longer stay, I would advise go for other options, near the hills..much better quality hotels and apartments..

Oceanic Hotel Vung Tau offers an affordable and comfortable stay in a fantastic location. It's just a few minute walk to the beach and has lots of restaurants/coffee shops surrounding it. The Jesus statue is really close by. The rooms are spacious and acceptably clean. There is an open-air rooftop that affirds a beautiful view.

I extended my stay at this hotel simply because I didn’t feel like searching for another place while staying in the same area. However, I later noticed that other guests had mentioned the same thing in their reviews: the hotel is located in a very strange neighborhood that, especially in the evenings, feels almost like a ghetto. In the evenings, there are people sitting on chairs at almost every corner, just watching everyone who passes by. Maybe it’s some local habit or tradition in this area, but it feels quite uncomfortable and unsettling. In the end, I moved to another part of the city and spent the rest of my days there, where I felt completely fine and much more relaxed. Back to the hotel itself. They did change my room and gave me one with a window, although the view was just of a neighboring building. The room came with only two small 200 ml bottles of drinking water. During my entire stay, my room was never cleaned, the water was never refilled, and the trash was never taken out. So yes, the first impression was a clean room — but after that, there was zero housekeeping service. No cleaning, no fresh water, no basic maintenance at all. The attitude toward guests feels very strange, as if they simply forgot that I was even staying there. The parking area is still a plus: it’s large, secure, with a guard on duty, and spacious enough for big touring motorcycles and cars. But honestly, that’s where the advantages of this hotel end.

Excellent hotel, the rooms are very clean and well-maintained. There are no cockroaches or insects; we even lifted the mattress and checked thoroughly – spotless. The shower has great ventilation, not a hint of mold. A special thanks to the hotel staff member downstairs who helped us carry our luggage and park the bike; he was very friendly!

Comfortable stay, the room was nice and comfortable but the blanket was a bit too small and not warm enough. Very good value for money though

When I entered this area, the very first thing I had to do was escape from some weird guy on a motorbike who started following me and even blocked the entrance to the hotel, offering me a “massage” right at the gate. I understand he had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but that first impression was already ruined. I had been riding for many hours, was really tired, and just wanted to get into the hotel and rest, but instead, some random dude on a motorbike blocked the entrance and wouldn’t let me pass while trying to sell me a massage. Not the best welcome, to say the least. Anyway, once I finally got inside, the parking area turned out to be very large! it can easily fit big touring bikes and even cars, which is great if you’re traveling around Vietnam by motorbike. At first glance, everything looked clean and spacious. However, I still don’t understand why at check-in I wasn’t given the room I had actually booked, a room with a window, and preferably with a sea view. Instead, they gave me a closed room without any window at all. When I complained that this didn’t match my reservation, they changed my room. It’s strange, why not just give me the room I booked and expected from the start? Hotel was almost empty.

This is a good hotel, relatively clean, but the shower glass had water stains and wasn't clean. There was a musty smell in the room, like dampness, but opening the windows helped. There were no insects. There's no kettle or hairdryer in the room, but I asked at the reception and they provided a kettle. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the public beach. However, swimming there was impossible; the sea was dirty, full of trash, with big waves, and there were black flags with skulls, meaning they wouldn't let people swim and kept whistling warnings. I walked 30 minutes to a beach near the Christ statue and a Buddhist temple on the rocks, where the sea was clean and the waves were small. Lotte Mart is a 25-minute walk away. Hot water was available in the room, but the drain was a bit slow. Everything else was fine. The staff, including the gentleman at the entrance and at reception, were very friendly. They helped me call a bus to Ho Chi Minh airport and extended my stay until 7 PM for 200,000 VND.

Absolute nightmare, don't even stay for one night. The area is like a ghetto, with everyone sitting around on benches like old ladies, and it's all very intrusive. The room itself is spacious, but they didn't change the towels or pillowcases, and didn't clean it. They only cleaned after I asked twice. It's close to the sea, but I assure you, you won't even want to walk down that street.
