Here’s a shorter review with a more clearly dissatisfied but still diplomatic tone:
The hotel has new facilities, and I appreciate the reception staff for accommodating early check-in and late check-out. The security staff at the parking area were also very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
First, be careful with the room type you book. I paid for a seaview room, but the view was mostly of the mountain, with only a small glimpse of the sea. It would be more accurate to describe this as a partial seaview.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The room was dusty, including the bathroom cups, the slippers provided were visibly dirty, and there was hair left in the bathtub. Hygiene standards were far below expectations.
The bathroom design was also inconvenient, as there is no separate standing shower area. Every time we showered, water spread across the entire bathroom floor, making it slippery and uncomfortable to use afterward.
Another downside is that the hotel does not have a private beach, so guests need to bike or take a taxi for 5–10 minutes to reach the beach.
We also had to change rooms because the air conditioning in our first room kept malfunctioning, though the staff were helpful in arranging this.
What was especially disappointing was the lack of support from the bellboys during check-out. My mother is elderly and has knee problems, and the hotel entrance has high stairs. We were carrying multiple bags, yet no one offered assistance except for the security staff outside.
While some staff members were kind and helpful, the poor hygiene, misleading room description, and inconsistent service made this stay far less pleasant than expected.
