First time stay at a Home 2 Suites by Hilton. Location was great, close to shops and restaurants. Hotel staff excellent, clean, comfy bed, great breakfast and free laundry. I would definitely recommend this hotel - if I could give it 10 stars I would. I will be looking for more Home 2 Suites by Hilton on my next trip.
Hotel Indigo Waco - Baylor

I've stayed at this hotel for 8 years when in town for visits, but that will change. Up to this point, Hotel Indigo has been my first pick and we have generally been happy with room accommodations - despite rooms being exceptionally high for the area with rigid cancellation policies. However, the past two visits this year have made it apparent that this hotel does not invest in keeping the most essential items in rooms updated. The mattress on the past trip was the worst I have ever encountered in any hotel. It was severely sagging to the center, noisy and had absolutely no support. The pillows and towels were past their time as well. And, speaking to other reviewers' comments, the noise from room above was noticeable until 3am due to the bare floors in rooms and being able to hear any foot traffic. I reported the mattress issue to the front desk and received ”Oh, I'll let maintenence know”. A good hotel invests in ensuring guests to have a restful, enjoyable stay, so that you want to return on your next visit. Sadly, not the case here.

Loved this little studio! It was super nice and accommodating. It was like our home away from home (: it had a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans utensils, cups, plates you name it! Definitely will be staying again!
TownePlace Suites Waco South

Firstly let me say that all the staff were exceptionally nice during our 17 night stay and very helpful when required. Our main problem was that our room was not serviced regularly . We were eventually told that the rooms are not serviced until the 8th day ! (so if you stay for a week it will never be cleaned). As it happened we did not get a full service until day 12. This meant we had to collect our rubbish and towels and take them to reception for replacement.(on the 8th day we got a 'refresh' which did not mean a clean or vacuum) We were on holiday, spending a considerable amount of money to stay and were NOT TOLD WHEN WE BOOKED that this was company policy in such a long stay hotel. Being a clean and hygenic couple we had to buy cleaning products locally to keep our room in good order NOT what we expected to do on our holiday. I expect the excuse will be due to covid but by these dates covid was really not a problem locally and no one was masked up etc. We will have to look at other property on our next visit as this was extremely disappointing. As i said the staff were lovely but 'The Corporate ' must take the blame and review.

The 1st thing I noticed is that there were 4 people behind the counter for check-in. It went very smooth and very fast. The next thing I noticed is when you get in the elevators they smell clean and fresh. For years these elevators always had a peculiar smell. The rooms were standard rooms and were very clean. The room had a coffee maker, a, a Mini refrigerator, dresser drawers, comma a large TV, E, desk, And a couple of upholstery chairs. The pool area was nice and clean, and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast included omelets or eggs anyway you wish, and a small choice of other hot food. The breakfast seemed to be hit-or-miss on service. The 1st day I waited about 10 minutes and had 3 tables come up in comment that this was horrible service the 2nd day the people couldn't move fast enough or do enough. I believe the 1st day they were having some type of kitchen meeting. Note to the food and beverage manager or chef, have the meeting when you're not trying to serve breakfast. 5 people from 3 tables convenient to me about how horrible the service was because nobody was out there to help. A gentleman from another table even got up went to the back and banged on the door and then went back to his table. I have not said a word. But somebody came out from the back looked around and then went straight back to the meeting. If this is the worst thing that can happen is I have to wait 10 minutes to get served it's not the end of the world but it doesn't show oh a 5 star rating which I think the hotel is made great strides to earn with good food in the evening and other amenities
