Highly overpriced, not clean apartment/hotel? with very helpful stuff. The room - [ ] No table although it is an apartment with kitchen, so if you want to eat food, either you stand around microwave or? - [ ] No water tap in kitchen, so cleaning the dishes in bathroom maybe? - [ ] No cupboard to keep your clothes, only 4 clothes hanger provided and you can hang your clothes where you find a place for hangers - [ ] As there is no cupboard the ironing board stands next to the door. - [ ] No safety lock on door, not sure if the door is locked or not. The bathroom - [ ] Mold everywhere. As staff explained it is not mold only the crack covered by silicone but it is not, it is black mold in the shower and around the whole bathroom. - [ ] No extraction but there is a sign in bathroom to close the door while showering to avoid false fire alarm. - [ ] The mirror is on the window which has a view of the street. In case you switch on the light, from the street anyone can see what you do in bathroom. - [ ] The shower door opens as a 20 years old car without maintenance, so everyone will know when you start showering. People - [ ] When I told these concerns, they kindly offered me another room however when I looked at it, the same issue was there. They also offered refund if I want to leave so I guess this is not the first time when someone complained but they handled it well!

The staff were really friendly, the room was quite and clean, and the private outdoor spa pool was amazing to soak in. Good value for money over the Christmas break

A small but comfortable unit and which had everything we wanted and a lakeside view as well.

Room was very nice and clean stayed in the executive room so spacious, lake view cafe in there so nice as we had brunch before heading off. Will definitely stay agai thanks so much

We were happy with our room and the view. It was clean and has been refurbished. It was one of the smaller rooms but suited us well.The cafe has a gorgeous view of the lake, good food and coffee.Staff and cleaning staff very lovely

Good location right beside the lake. We enjoyed early morning walks along the footpath next to the lake. Followed by breakfast at the adjoined cafe

Lovely helpful staff, great location and comfortable accommodation.

I was given a choice of 2 rooms one that stunk of cigarette smoke, had black mould around the window and had single glazing so very noisy OR 1 that had double glazed window but the bathroom was single glazed so given it's on the main road into Taupo this was very noisy. I had to then pay an additional 150 that I don't have to stay in a non smelly or noisy room.
