The Kiln Hotel, Part of AG Collection, Wakefield

Only 1 light out of 2 worked in the bathroom. No soap in the dispensers x2, just a single small tube of shampoo/body wash. No slip mat in the bathroom, could be requested but you would have to go to main reception to request this. Why not just provide this?

The hotel is very basic, more like a motel style in the US, with the rooms set off to the side of the main building. The reception team were exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was hot and of good quality and if paid for in advance when you check in you get a discounted price. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this is not the place for you, but as a budget hotel with basic facilities and reasonably priced, you won't be disappointed.

Convenient location for business in Wakefield. Plenty of parking. Basic facilities with great staff. Cleanliness is satisfactory but rooms are dated.

Clean comfortable easy to park friendly staff willl stay again

The staff were very helpful and polite and professional. The room was very clean big enough for short stay. Disappointed with having to pay for car parking . Would have liked dining to Finnish maybe 10 _10:30ish. Meals were good though. Would be easier to find if sign nearer the road.

A basic but convenient place to stay not far from Wakefield and the motorway. Free parking for guests and clean comfy beds make this a budget friendly place for work trips. Good for the price.

Adequate rooms clean and compact with ensuite facilities, tea and coffee in rooms. Modest reception /bar area. Perfect location for a quick stopover on a budget but certainly comfortable with no frills hence good value for money
